There’s definitely certain labels that are pervasive amongst the boutiques in Vancouver and Spank is one of those retailers that sell at the lower-lowest markups around. Hence, I like to wander in here once in awhile when I need something decent, simple and casual for work or classes. Fashion bloggers, I’d imagine, would probably be unimpressed. Nevertheless, they sell plenty of comfy leggings and really versatile, chiffon camis /tanks I’d probably need year-round in a diversity of colours and cuts so I know I’ll be back. Laid-back vibe, no pretence, and consistent customer service: you get greeted and set-up with a room with polite smiles and thank-you’s. From experience thus far, really no more no less.

New location, at least new to me since the other one on Granville closed not too long ago. After many years I wanted to give these guys another try in hopes of getting some dress pants for work, however, came back with little to no inspiration. Customer service was decent.

This place gets me every time. Just take my money, why don’t cha’! I never fail to find something I fall in love with. May it be a dress or pair of jeans by Free People or something amazing by their house brand Lost & Found. They always are in fresh supply of Matt & Nat bags and cute accessories. I think my favorite part about these stores is that the staff(excluding my last experience) aren’t pushy. They’re mellow, understand what I’m looking for and aren’t completely suffocating to be around. Right now for Winter they have a HUGE selection of gorgeous jackets. Go check them out!
