You can’t really go wrong with cheap $ 10 haircut as long as you’re not fussy. I came in asking for a haircut and my barber, Cheng, asked if I wanted it long or short. I told him I wanted it short and within 10 minutes, I had a wonderful cut. All haircuts should be this easy.

On our quest to find cheap haircuts in Vancouver, my partner and I decided to go to Singalong Hair Beauty Salon to get a much needed haircut. Upon entering due to the sign that said the haircuts were $ 8.50, we were welcomed by a woman named Candy who directed me to sit in the chair. She asked if I wanted my hair cut short or long and I was like «medium short». She began cutting a little off the top and didn’t talk much at all. She spoke English just fine, just didn’t talk a lot to new people I guess. After a little while, I got worried that she wasn’t going to cut much at all, until she got the clippers out and cut the sides and back perfectly. After finishing she said that it would be $ 10. I’m guessing that is with tip already, but I gave her a little more anyways. I got home and wish she would have cut more off the top, but it was okay. Next time I will know to go with cut to 1 inch on top (otherwise, I will be more specific). Overall, I would go back for a $ 10 haircut…
