I got the Thai burger, and it was my kind of veggie patty: tender, flavourful, and BIG!!! It was yummy and loaded with fresh veggies. The bun was crunchy & chewy. Also friendly & pretty quick service!

Comfortable little café that serves up healthy-ish, vegetarian and vegan casual fare. For the style of food, it’s right on target and very satisfying. Reasonably priced and decent portions. Worth a stop if you’re in the area and are seeking out something like this.

Had the pineapple mint juice and it was SOGOOD. Wished I was hungry so I could have tried one of the yummy looking vegan goodies — next time! :)

Sejuiced is a colorful casual restaurant that offers veggie friendly foods and drinks. They have smoothies, juices, healthy treats, as well as a wide range of salads, sandwiches, and bowls. Its a tad small inside, but the portions are anything but. After a few days of indulging on Vancouver’s infamous Chinese food, Sejuiced was a refreshing oasis of vegetables and fruits.

Life burger – definitely one of my favourite burgers of all time. Salads and dressing and juices all great too. Four stars instead of five only because the prices are a bit steep.

I’ve been to this little café a few times since I’m vegan and live right down the street and I really want to like it… but I just can’t! It’s a small space so not ideal for groups but good enough to grab a bite to eat by yourself or to take away. The atmosphere is laid back/casual and features some very nice artwork. It definitely has a community vibe to it, which makes it cozy and inviting. Now for the bad-the food selection is very small. I’ve ordered the tempeh wrap, quesidillas, chile, and a couple of different smoothies which is basically all there is on the menu. While none of the entrees were«bad» they were a little boring and lacked flavour. For an $ 8 wrap you’d expect a little more than just cold tempeh strips, tomato, and iceburg lettuce which probably only costs $ 2 to make. But then again this is Vancouver… Overall this is not a bad place but with all of the other vegan and vegetarian restaurants in the area, I wouldn’t make Sejuiced a priority. I would have given it 3 stars but last time I was there I specifically ordered«2 quesidillas with vegan cheese» to go and when I got home I found that both of them were made with regular cheese. I had to walk back to the shop and explain the mix up. The manager rolled her eyes at me and did not apologize at all even though she was in the wrong and I had to go out of my way to fix her mistake. She even wanted me to give her another $ 3 because apparently the vegan cheese cost more than the dairy cheese but I shouldn’t have to pay extra for her mistake…

Go-to for pre/post yoga fuel or simple, but healthy lunch. They have a huge drinks menu of healthy juices and smoothies and a few hot beverages, and a smaller food menu and some house-made gluten-free and vegan friendly pastries. I always order the Power Bowl, if not then the Zen Bowl and I’ve never had a bad smoothie from here. The front-counter staff are good, the owner is great with her regulars, and I’m always a sucker for punch cards or any system that rewards your regular patronage with free food items. Surprisingly, they don’t offer free wi-fi for customers and it’s only for this reason that makes this more of a to-go place rather than a hangout/study place.

I love Sejuiced! Their fresh bread with herb«butter» is pure comfort and their tofu scramble is delicious and filling. Their soups and juices are perfect for when you are feeling under the weather and guarantee a quicker recovery.

I’m v disappointed. The first time I had none of their standard smoothies and it was ok. Their smoothies are mostly fruit based thus high in sugar. So my second time I asked them to make me one with more vegetables. So they included those and then threw ins go juice from a package– not even a pure mango juice but one with chemicals and crap in it. Don’t have them!

Cute little place on west 4th, i had the hummus sandwich and the lentil dahl soup both great and tasty. In the past i have also had one of their salads and a choc bliss ball. Prices are reasonable and the service was friendly and quick.

Just ok. I got the Morning Energizer smoothie but thought it was just ok. It wasbt sweet at all even though it had banana and mango in it. It looked like she only put in one little chunk of banana… not even half. I would try something else but not another smoothie.

So delicious! It’s a cute little spot right in the heart of kits. Nothing fancy, just a great place to grab a healthy quick lunch or dinner. I usually get the ananda, it’s so yummy. Lots of brown rice, with plenty of greens topped with their tasty tofu steaks and a side of tahini sauce. Absolutely divine. If I’m craving something heartier I’ll order the swami-g. Momma the delicious home made curry sauce is to die for. Their smoothies are great too. Try the chai chiller. It’s one big liquid smile. :) Hands down my fave vegetarian spot.

You walk in here and you immediately feel healthy. There isn’t much in the eats department, however, what they do have you can feel good about yourself here. Prices are decent. They have a wide variety of fresh fruit and veggie juices.

If you’re on West 4th, and only have time for a meal in a cup, or you’re in need of a serious vitamin injection as a result of a hard night of drinking — this place should be at the top of your list of destinations. I haven’t had many of their mains. From what I’ve seen, they’re like The Naam down the street — but more super-food conscious and purposefully healthy. A lentil soup of theirs I had once needed seasoning, but that’s the sort of place this is. It didn’t need salt. I just wanted it to be more salty. There’s a salt shaker at the front of this 20 seat micro-eatery, next to a water pitcher you can pour your-own-damned-self(using plastic cups one might find in a kindergarten/nursery environment). This is one of those places where you go for healthy food. There’s no service. You order at a counter, enjoy, and leave. I imagine most of their food is recommendable. Their smoothie selection is great. They have fresh juices like you’d find at Gorilla Food or Nuba — beet, carrot, celery, wheat grass(if you’re into that), what have ye. Their smoothies have intelligent combinations that speak of some health-conscious architect’s touch. I go there sometimes if I’ve forgotten to eat, or if I feel like I need a cleanse, but don’t really want to commit to the whole cleanse thing. Sejuiced gets 4 stars because of the quality of the food — in sheer nutritional terms. They’re not re-inventing the wheel or anything, they just do good simple food, well.

Love the name of this place. After passing by it every time I drove to work or ate in the neighbourhood, it was time I gave this place a chance. It’s small, cozy, and full of vegetarian and vegan options. Prices are fairly reasonable for wraps and sandwiches. My first thought was that they’d be prepared fresh, but the hummus wrap I received was cold and presumably from the refrigerator. Taste of food? My wrap was packed with hummus(yum!) and they didn’t skimp out on the vegetables. It wasn’t difficult for me to put the darn thing down! Although it wasn’t enough to fill me up, I wouldn’t mind stopping by for a vegetarian smoothie or snack again. There were a lot of people coming in and out ordering freshly squeezed juices and drinks, so it must be good! All in all, I wouldn’t say I was Sejuiced, but I applaud the effort!

They make vegetables taste good :) It’s a great great healthy alternative for lunch — definitely a must try for vegans and vegetarians out there. Their smoothies and shakes are also delicious. Everything on the menu is under $ 10. Dining in can be a hit or a miss because they make the smoothies right there so it gets very noisy and you can’t really talk over the sound of the blender.

Eh, it still gets 3 stars. Just went back since I live down the street and thought I’d try out their bowls compared to the Naam. The Power House Yogi Bowl was just ok. I’m vegan and love quinoa and veggies, but this wasn’t awesome. The tempeh they have here is probably the worst tempeh I’ve had flavorwise. Texture is fine but it just tastes sour and bitter, they need a better marinade with a little sweetness to balance it out. It was so unpleasant eating in the bowl. Next the broccoli is in GIGANTIC pieces and barely cooked, and you only get a fork. So it’s very hard to eat and your only option is to shove it all in your mouth or tear at it with your teeth, but it’s hard because it’s barely cooked. The broccoli is disappointing here. I loved the cauliflower, it was cooked perfectly. The quinoa is fine, but it needed more sauce. The bowl is filled with veggies but it’s like a mountain and so hard to eat as quinoa keeps spraying all over and falling out. This was not well thought out. I don’t know what girl wants to eat lunch and leave the table looking like there was a vegetable massacre. It’s just messy and not nice. PLEASE get a bigger bowl, I don’t care how huge it looks when it’s stacked in, it makes it so you just eat all the veggies and then at the bottom there is quinoa with no sauce on it, and it tastes like nothing, and half your quinoa is spilled on the table. I really want to like this place, I am a healthy vegan chef myself but it’s just that things are not well thought out here and they don’t make sense. Flavours need a vast improvement as well. If I want mediocrity I’d still rather go to the Naam because I like their Naam Bowl way better. And best vegetarian restaurant award? Give me a break!
