After my bad experience at rove concept the senior management actually got back to me! they gave me a 100 $ gift certificate I don’t think it was just the christmas spirit, I think that they did actually care about what I had to say. That exactly makes the difference between a good store and an excellent one. I am really thankful and absolutely happy. And I for sure will go back to rove concept.

We had a wonderful experience with our purchase from Rove Concepts. We went in looking for an arm chair for our new home, and had the womb chair and ottoman in mind after having seen it on sale on the website. Tara was super helpful in showing us what they had available(so many fun, modern and stylish options), and helping us think through our design ideas. We never felt pressured to buy, and always felt that she was genuinely helping us think through our options and find what will work best for us and our space. On top of this, she showed us a floor model from the back that saved us a TON of money, which we are super grateful for! She even helped us load it into the back of our SUV to take home :) The style sense, professionalism and positive attitude of everyone there was so nice to work with, we will definitely be back for more! Make sure to ask for Tara if you stop by to shop.

To edit my previous review: It was a struggle, but after Rove’s head of Customer Service returned from his honeymoon, we were able to resolve the problem. The replacement chair we received is excellent and the CS manager wrote me personally to apologize for the earlier poor service. Rove is a growing company and may have some operational issues such as the problem that we had. As background, the original chair shipped to us had warped plywood and damaged veneer and we were told that we would have to wait 10 – 14 weeks for a replacement to be fabricated in China. After 16 weeks, I contacted Rove’s customer service and inquired about the replacement. I was told that production was delayed and I would have to wait another 8 weeks or so. When I asked why they wouldn’t ship one of the chairs that they had in stock, the CS rep at Rove got very defensive and unpleasant. He said that I had no recourse to escalate my complaint and that I had agreed to receive a replacement from China. Not the kind of service one expects from a high-end shop like Rove. But as I said, we managed to resolve the situation and the replacement chair is exactly what I had hoped for. It did take about four months to get here and the process was difficult, hence the rating of only three stars. Even though this was a difficult transaction, I would order from Rove again. I’m very happy that they came through in the end and the product is what I had hoped for.

I purchased a tulip table and received it last week and was completely disappointed with the size. I was on the fence regarding whether I should get the larger size and relied on the images on the Rove Concepts site, which I later learned are not even the images of their own tables, they are basically stolen from the internet. The reason I relied on the image is that we have the exact chairs pictured and the table looked so large next to them. Again, it was not a Rove table and a much larger size than the site offers. I called immediately to take advantage of their three day return policy and I was told that this table is not eligible for returns or exchanges(which is what I wanted to do) and that my only option was to sell it myself at a loss. I then inquired about getting the larger top and was told their delivery company would not return the other, even though they are coming here, and they are going to charge me an additional 400 for delivery. Talk about customer service! I feel as though this company does not care about their customers, and really is in it to rip off designers and pad their pockets. I just received my estimate for the top only and it is the same price as the top + the base. No discount for the top only. Even better my four year old was playing legos on it and the table already appears to be scratching … such a disappointment. I would advise against getting this table or any product from this company. I am completely unimpressed and hope I can sell this table and buy from a reputable company that actually cares about customer satisfaction. I tried to post my honest review on their site and they keep deleting it making me wonder how many other people have had issues. It seems as though they only post the positive reviews which is as misleading as their site.

We had been looking for modern office furniture to furnish our new office. We had been looking locally, as we had a certain look we were going for. We couldn’t find anything that worked for the image we were going for. When we found RoveConcepts on the internet, we were amazed by the style of ther furniture. It was exactly what we were looking for. Quickly ordered the furniture and 8 days later it arrived to our new office location. All the furniture that we received is of great quality and looks exactly as we expected, especially the Eames Style Management office chairs, they are so sleek and comfortable. Having in mind that the customer service was quite helpful, the delivery didn’t take long and the furniture is stylish and of good quality, we would definitely order from this website again.

Last week we were on a business trip to Vancouver. One day, because we had no scheduled meetings, we decided to search for some furniture for our house in Seattle. Found this business on Unilocal and, as we were in the neighborhood, we decided to pay them a visit. The customer service was very nice. We got all the information we needed and we came to the conclusion that it would be profitable for us to order the furniture from Vancouver and have it delivered to our house in Seattle, Washington. We paid for the modern wenge bedroom set — queen bed, dresser, two night stands and a mirror — all for a very decent amount of money. Even if we added the delivery fees, the price was still under the quotes that we received from some local dealers. So we paid for the furniture last week, and yesterday, before leaving Vancouver, we called these guys once again, in order to check the status of our delivery. They checked and told us that the furniture will be delivered in approx 1 day in Seattle. We couldn’t believe that it will be delivered so fast, but, this morning the truck was already in front of our house and our new furniture is being mounted in our bedroom ‘as we speak’. We would highly recommend these guys for their nice customer service and for their promptitude, as well.

Our order and delivery were great. From the beginning Tara was prompt and direct at providing us a price for the 5 piece dining room set — we were even able to customize to the exact chairs we wanted. We received outstanding customer service from James who provided order updates and checking in to make sure our order was delivered We received white glove delivery and within less than 1 week our dining room set was delivered. Businesses with such a customer centric and«do what’s right» values, attitudes and practices don’t come along every day. I really would like to provide them with the most resounding«shout out» that I can.

Shipping from Rove is extremely expensive and that are not accommodating when it comes to delivery windows. Product sat in the warehouse for weeks without contacting me, and took multiple calls to track down. When product arrived, I found that it was scratched and that it was too small for the space. They would not return the product, but offered a 3% mark down! The cost to return was a massive re-stocking fee in addition to $ 500 delivery fee each way. I would have been much better off shopping at Room and Board!

Really fantastic customer care. Answered all my questions and shipped out replacement parts to remedy a small issue on my Eames lounge chair. Shipping is very quick for freight. Only took about three weeks. Came in a box so big that it didn’t fit through the door — so plan ahead! I had my doubts, but I am so satisfied I spent the extra money over all the cheaper reproductions. You wont regret dishing out more money for quality in the long run.

We’ve had similar challenges dealing with Rove as some of the other reviewers here. Sales team were fine to deal with(except they kept having problems applying proper discounts) but Post-Sales customer service is deplorable, especially for an online retailer. We live in Vancouver where Rove is based so we did visit their showroom but all post-sales customer service must be done via email. Only sales are done by phone or in person. Product-wise, as reproduction quality goes, Rove is not bad. We ordered the large oval Carrera Marble Tulip table, wishbone chairs, the Eames lounge chair but it was the Norman Plywood side chairs we had the most problems with. Of the 6 side chairs, 3 had problems ranging from poor quality finish(mottled stains and rough edges) and legs that were uneven. We had similar experience with attempting to do exchanges in terms of wait times. We ordered in Sept 2015 and I’m writing this review in December while we are still waiting for our replacement chairs. I’ll add that we’ve had replacements sent to us a few weeks ago but those also had similar defects. One final problem was with their«white glove» delivery service which was anything but. We ended up having to assemble the furniture ourselves and dispose of the packaging. Not great for a $ 539 delivery fee. I also had to ask one of their delivery guys to leave house due to his behaviour. All-in-all, we wouldn’t be shopping at Rove again after spending over $ 6K with them even though they offered a $ 150 credit for our troubles. There is a reason why original design furniture costs what they do but for the inconsistent«premium» quality Rove promises, I recommend you look to other online retailers that sell«AllModern» reproduction furniture.
