Went here last night for Dine Out Vancouver. I had the fig and goat cheese salad for my appetizer. It tasted good once I had mixed everything together(all the goat cheese was in one clump at the bottom). For my flatbread, I had the lemon and rosemary chicken. I chose it because it sounded like it would be packed with flavour but it was quite the opposite. I covered it in hot sauce just to get some sort of flavour. When we first walked in, it took a while for someone to acknowledge we were even there. Once we were seated we waited even longer to place an order even though all of us were ready. Understandably the place was full and it seemed like all the workers were kind of running around. The majority of customers in the restaurant were families so it’s totally family friendly. The décor and kids play area says it all. As we started our dessert(I had a forgettable coconut cheesecake) a man popped open his guitar case and started performing in the corner by the front door. This is the second time I’ve been to a Rocky Mountain Flatbread(my first time was at the kits location several years ago). I waited a long time to visit the restaurant a second time, and unfortunately I won’t be rushing back for a third time.

My family has been here 4 times and we love it. They use high quality product and produce yummy food. We always order the specials and we’ve never left disappointed. The atmosphere is awesome and they have a little area for kids to play where they have a small wooden kitchen and some pots. The kids can pretend to be chefs.

Excellent place with our extended family for dinner! Food came out super fast and hot. Salad dressings were great and pesto shrimp pizza particularly tasty. We love the community involvement they undertake — teaching in schools, oceanwise, growing some of their own veggies etc. Kids loved the play area too! The owners generously donated to Canadian Diabetes Association several years ago and we were grateful, and happy to support this newer location!

In all honesty I usually don’t write such a poor review but in this incident I feel that it is necessary… Kitsilano location, is incredible. This location? It tastes like they cook without passion. I spend nearly a hundred dollars on a pizza that was cold, a penne order that stuck together… And bread that was as hard as rock. Did this location check before delivering my order? I understand that delivery we do expect a small chill. But a flat cold not even hinted heating pizza box? Plus I did ask for utensils and napkins… Not even acknowledged. I loved this restaurant. But this chain questions my judgement because they do NOT put heart and soul into their food the way the kitsilano location does… And that’s very disappointing.

Fantastic place for kids! Went here for a family dinner and was really impressed by how accommodating the staff was. I used their online reservation service, which was very convenient. I was not blown away by the food, but I really appreciated their focus on farmers market produce. I would absolutely return here based on the fantastic time that the youngest members of the family had. I applaud the ability of the staff to operate in such a chaotic environment with so many children underfoot!

We have been to Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co several times in the past 3 years at both the Main Street and Kits locations. We try to book it on nights when the kids can make their own pizza as my kids enjoy that experience. The good: Very family friendly, very attentive staff, nights when kids can make their own pizzas, kids love eating the pizza and mac & cheese, they try & use local & organic produce, free range organic meats and Ocean Wise seafood and they have a small but nice selection of draught beers(good choice on Driftwood’s Fat Tug IPA). The bad: The tomato sauce on the pizza was very bland and tasteless and quantity of toppings is quite small. And our pizza was overcooked. Not sure we plan on returning.

4 stars for their friendly service, ability to accommodate, family friendly atmosphere and kid’s play space! We enjoyed the food a lot as well. If you are a fan of flatbread pizzas this is your place. We loved our Fig & brie, Beef Pepperoni, Sundried tomoates and fennel sausage. Everyone polished off their plates. My son had the kid’s macaroni and cheese and he loved it.

We went here for Father’s Day as we usually find it decent and family friendly and had been going for years. We won’t go back. The email for the Father’s Day special said $ 5 drafts, but didn’t specify only for fathers, so other adults that ordered at the table did not get the special. When the waitress gave us the bill, she also charged more for the 750mL bottle that she said she would give to Father for $ 5. The kids making the pizza has been more restrictive with size and topping portions, for example limiting to 3 tomatoes only on the pizza which is a regular size. Over the years, service and quality just slowly went down. And lastly, we find the crust just plain boring and tasteless. The attraction in the beginning was the good ingredients and family friendly environment, but we don’t feel it is worth the price anymore for the taste and service.

It’s Mother’s Day today! My mom, brother, and I loved it here. Servers were quick and friendly and the food was delicious. Both my mom and I had the Chef’s Feature pasta: «Handcut fettucine in a white wine asiago cream sauce w/local BC asparagus, red onion, organic crimini mushrooms + red peppers topped w/fresh chives.» If that didn’t make you hungry, I don’t know what will. My brother opted for a small sundried tomato and goat cheese flatbread pizza. He quite liked it, and while my mom tried it too, she still preferred her pasta. Because it was Mother’s Day, all mothers were given a free warm double chocolate brownie with a side of ice cream and whipped cream. The pizza and pasta were great but this was probably the best thing we had. Imagine a warm, rich melt-in-your-mouth brownie to go alongside a scoop of cold, sweet vanilla ice cream. I’m sorry if you’re drooling all over your phone or keyboard now. It really was good… I don’t know if I would pay the original price of $ 19 for it though. UPDATE: The brownie is actually listed as $ 19 because of a three-course menu(available on Tuesdays at Main and on Thursdays at Kits) that is worth $ 19. That’s a pretty good deal don’t you think? Maybe my next review will be about that. I also wanted to add that one of their chefs personally brought the brownie to my mom. Nice personal touch! Thanks, Rocky Mountain Flatbread for a really enjoyable meal. My mom loved it here. We’ll definitely be back.

The pizza was ok. The service was terrible. I don’t recall his name, but the server with Aussie accent was rude and extremely impatient. We had a group of 8 so we were automatically charged 18% gratuity. I did tell him that his attitude was poor and his reply was«talk to the manager, oh they’re already gone for the night». Plain food + awful service = save your money

We’re vegetarians. Been here twice now and each time we’ve ordered something different and its been absolutely delicious! My wife and I have been very impressed with the quality of the food and its taste. Their daily specials are awesome. Each time we’ve got the daily special its been the best dish. Very kid friendly! There’s a play area for kids and the staff are very friendly towards children.

Birthdays for the kids are really great here. It costs about $ 15 per kid and each child gets to make his/her own pizza. The staff is super friendly and they teach the kids how make their very own customized pie. I come here often because it’s like auto-pilot when dining with the kids. There is a play area for the kids so they have something to keep them busy before and after mealtime. What’s more, who can say no to pizza. The kids practically clear their plates on their own. I don’t think I’ve had to stress out over a meal here with them. The the meat and produce are locally sourced and they stick with organic and sustainable suppliers. Job well done!

Terrible value for delivery pizza. Literally the same price as fine dining meal for dry boring food at home. Very disappointed.

Full disclosure; pizza is not my favourite thing. The pizza here is good. Ingredients are fresh and interesting. I always just order the special and it’s never been a disappointment. I’ve never been blown away by the food, but maybe that’s because I have yet to ever be blown away by pizza. We come here with the kids. There’s always other kids here and they have a well set up play area and a well thought out kids menu. The servers are also patient and sensitive to a families needs. Easily my favourite place in town to go out with the kids. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend it for a date night, but for families, this place is just perfect.

Food is delish! The soup was definitely home made and the salad was fresh and the flavors unique with tartness and sweetness gently balanced. The garlicky flatbread was tasty but could have used another sprinkling of sea salt. I enjoyed the experience there even though I was skeptical at first. It was one of the few times I have eaten in a new restaurant and didn’t wish I had ordered something else.

I’m not a big fan of pizza or flatbreads, however, I wasn’t feel like to go too far away so just wanted to have something easy and closed by. I found few flatbread shops on Main St and had good reviews of it. However, Trilussa Pizza & Pane is closed on Sunday and we picked Rocky Mountain instead. On pouring Sunday noon, we spent over 10 mins to find a parking spot and need to walk few blocks to there. Lucky that I made via open table coz they were so busy(almost full house) at the dining room. We ordered country harvest flatbread and veggie omelette as brunch. The country harvest — corn, Portobello mushroom, spinach and sun-dried tomato were good but overall a bit dry. Vegetable Omelette was the other way around which greasy and soaky. Never mind since I got 10% off coz I checked in at Unilocal. It made me feel better and fair on such moody day.

It’s a Rocky Mountain Flatbread. But if you’ve never been it’s like a pizza place but with other options like sandwiches and big salads. Kid friendly so keep that in mind as there can be high pitched screaming at times. Of course I’m assuming that was the kids. It’s a cost effective meal and in this location the service was prompt, friendly and attentive.

My original NYE plans feel flat, however, sometimes the best things are the ones that are put together last minute. This has been on my hit list for a while now, however, their initial hours of operation how never matched my scheduled. I went there for NYE casual dinner with the guy I am dating. I went not ’cause it was NYE but rather ’cause I wanted to fullfill one item on my hit list. I made a reservation a few days prior on the way to Red Cat records and was surprised that there was room for two. I changed my booking initially the first few times over dietary concerns, however, their pre fixed NYE menu allowed for Gluten Free options which was heavily appreciated by yours truely. There was an extra charge for GF which was understandable and a standard in the city. Outside the substitution cost it was $ 13 per person before tax which included pizza and dessert. Here was the really surprising thing and helpful prior to coming into the shop on NYE. Their on-line menu has the nutritional info which made it easy for me to responsible to calculate and moderate my points on Weight Watchers. A good start to a healthy NY resolution. The guy I am dating and I don’t have any kids of our own, however, I would rather spend a family friendly alternative night together than with drunk club idiots. I find some kids more well behaved than bar idiots. Most were well behaved at this family event that it didn’t bother us. It is good to see that establishments are making this family friendly so that everyone has somewhere to go. I had the apple chicken gluten free pizza and holy sh*t the crust was amazing for gluten free. The apples were marinated in sugar and cinnamon like a piece of apple pie which complemented the chicken. I am still dreaming of the taste of the pizza in my mouth. They forgot that I couldn’t have the brownie since it was not gluten free, however, it ended up working out as I traded my slice of brownie with the extra scoop of ice cream my date was holding.

Lunch time on a week day. Me: I want something crunchy, light, savory but I don’t want pizza MDSO(my dear significant other): Hmm… I think I know just the place West coast Salmon Flatbread. You had me at hello. Flatbread: I love that crunch. It’s light, thin, doesn’t feel heavy, I love you. Roasted garlic spread: mild, not garlic-y, just the right punch, not heavy at all. Toppings: Smoked salmon, thinly sliced red onions, capers, chives, the ingredients are all so very fresh. There’s a cute bush of shredded carrots and a cherry tomato as garnish in the middle. Service was attentive and friendly. Even though I find the price to be on the high side but given the quality ingredients they use and their involvement with giving back to the community, it makes me feel good knowing while I am enjoying every bite of the yummy flatbread, I am doing something good in the world, even in the most insignificant ways.

This is a review based on having visited this restaurant 3 times. Food: I cannot claim that there is any one dish that you must try but you can really taste a difference in the fresh ingredients they use. I personally find the portioning to be just right as I am not a big eater anyways. **But whatever you do I must insist that you save room for dessert to try the brownie! Served warm a la mode and with whipped cream and powered sugar, it is a little taste of heaven. Not too sweet, crisp outside with a soft centre. Yummmmm Service & ambiance: This place is super relaxed and comfy for chatting and getting together with friends. The staff are friendly and in my experience fairly efficient. The open view of the kitchen is also quite interesting. Tip: come here on Tuesdays for a 3 course meal for only $ 18 Bonus: I also love this place for its initiatives on giving back to the community and taking care of the environment. Hurrah for that :)
