I can’t speak on behalf of the coffee because I don’t drink it but the tea was good. The atmosphere was amazing though. It’s such a cool little place it reminds me of a coffee shop in Brooklyn. I want the pegs of the world map in my own apartment!

I explored Vancouver on vacation and this was by far the best coffee I had! Everything about his place is perfect from the décor, layout, staff and product. Plus, it’s located in Gastown which is a gem in all its own. I wish I didn’t live 2,000 miles away so I could come here everyday!

Nothing really beats Revolver. Their coffee is absolutely unbelievable. The flavour, the taste, the texture — everything. I had my first macchiato here and I thought I was eating ice cream. And if you don’t know what a macchiato is, it has nothing but coffee and milk in it. Their filters for drip coffee(which they pour and stir by hand) are plated in 18 karat gold. Cool friendly staff. Great décor. Definitely a contender for top coffee shop in Vancouver. Oh there’s also a parallel room on the other side with a huge communal table, and some table tops. Great for working, taking a business meeting, and people watching.

Wow! Amazing! I was visiting from nye and noticed this place the other day and made sure I had a chance to try it! Drip coffee, cheese and bacon scone, and raspberry coffee cakes are a must! Such a nice experience and great crew working there! Thanks guys! Highly recommended!

If you’re not as well-versed in coffee culture like I am, then this place could come off pretentious just based on all the pour over equipment they use there. But, when I get my cuppa, I’m never disappointed(and I like mine black). Be wary, they don’t really have any cold options(at least whenever I come to the place), but they’ll do iced lattes if you ask nicely. The immediate café is quite tiny and it’s usually hard to get seats there, but just pop in next door in Archive and a lovely communal table and stand-up ledges await you. I wouldn’t recommend setting up your laptop to work here as I don’t think they have wifi; it’s more of a place to converse or read.

So Revolver is kind of a big disappointment for me, specially after all the fuss I read about it. First time I tried to go there was on a Sunday. Busted, Revolver is closed on Sundays. While it’s totally my fault for not being careful enough, I do thing that’s a shame for a coffee shop. Anyway, today is Wednesday 3.30pm, it’s open(yay!) and… damnly packed! Like really packed with people standing with coffee cups in their hands! I luckily(?) find a tiny seat in the front window; understand here that we are 5 people seated in the frond window and that ALL of each other elbows are actually touching one another. Not the kind of thing I really appreciate when going to a coffee shop. Finally 5 $ for only a glass of caffe latte is utterly expensive and I am so tired of all those coffee shops which believe that because they look«oh so nice/trendy/cool» overpriced coffees come with it! Coming back? I doubt that. ps: wifi here is slow, probably due to the amount of people inside.

Best cup of coffee I had while in Vancouver. The interior is really nice and rustic, too. Will definitely be back if I’m ever in BC again!

My favourite coffee shop in the city, just because of the variety in beans they offer. Who else stocks roasters that range from local to ones from London and Berlin? I’ve been here multiple times and never wrote a review, but when I was first here they didn’t expand into the larger shop yet. This is a great place to try out different beans and different brewing methods before you commit to buying a bag, or just a great place for coffee fans to observe baristas at work. For trying out new stuff, Revolver offers brewing and tasting flights, where you can get 1 bean brewed 3 different ways, or 3 different beans brewed 1 way. I can’t review the espresso based drinks here, since every time I come I only order pourovers. There’s also a selection of baked goods to go along with the food, which looked tasty. With the expansion, the seating in the other room is quite spacious and the long communal table is a great spot to sit and chat.

Amazing coffee house. Comparable yet fancier than Vivace in Seattle. The place looks like a science lab with coffee devices all over. You get to pick your beans and they have perfectly portioned beans in little jars with lids. I’ve had a few drinks here but the latte and cappuccino are my favorite. Their cups are the only thing lacking. They are just glass cups not traditional to a coffee house but the drink inside is amazing! No doubt one of the coolest and finest coffee shops I’ve ever been to. Whenever I am in Vancouver, I make sure to stop here for my caffeine fix. Definitely a must go if you’re into coffee drinks. Seating is sparse and full quickly.

Sweet! We got parking RIGHTOUTFRONT! And it just kept getting better and better. Walking in, we waited only through one other person. They took a credit card(much better than trying to find cash for a single day). And they let us buy two drinks at once. One for now and one for later. Love it when a place does that. Anyway.I tried the two roasts they had available that day. One was from Portland. Heart I think. And Bows and Arrows. Both were good. I was more fond of the Bows and Arrows. A little less tart. They have other things if you like pour overs and different brewed coffees. Me, not so much. I like my coffee espresso style with good milk. As many people have said in other reviews. The place was hoppin, and we were lucky to find a spot for the three of us at the communal table. We also picked up some cool kitch for friends back home. I will definitely go back here when I am in Vancouver for a reliable craft coffee.

Delicious coffee. I find it cool that they have a revolving bean selection. It feels like the staff have tasted the various roasts and can offer good recommendation when asked, which is nice. If it weren’t a hike from the office, this could easily be my go to coffee shop.

Best latte in Vancouver! Also, dare we say, better than any coffee we had in Seattle! //LOCATION //Gastown //SERVICE //Simple syrup made to order. What is not to love about their service! If you want liquified sugar, simply go to the condiment bar and pick out your packet of choice for the barista to quickly make you on-demand simple syrup. //FOOD // + Iced latte: So smooth and creamy. It was the perfect intensity as well.

Love the décor of this coffee shop! Getting ideas to hopefully open up mine one of these days ;) They got me from the wall art! Creatively and amazingly constructed. A world map made with metal nails! Wish I had my phone that day :( Ordered my usual cap and it was good. Not as smooth as the other places I raved about but good. Bf ordered drip coffee and not sure if it was the beans or what but a lil watered down and sour. He didn’t try it till we left cause I would have been curious to understand why. However! My sister said hands down one of the best latte breve she has ever had in her life! Wow! That’s a statement to be made!

Hipster café in Vancouver! My latte had a strong start when sipped then the rest tasted smooth and mellow. Good amount of milk to balance it out. Great ambiance and service. Loving the décor of the place! There are two rooms to choose from. One side have smaller tables(max 4 peeps) lined up in rows, the room next door has a community table where most people came to study and read. Got crowded afternoon on a weekday.

Ugh, for being an ex-coffee connoisseur, I would still visit this spot everyday if I lived here. The space spits beautiful and thoughtful design. Black and white exterior and dope interior with an adjacent coffee room/lounge and shop next door. Ridiculoussss. My BF is so into the coffee thang right now so this was on top of our list of places to go. They have chemex’s for sale here and also a bunch of beans from top roasters. Since I can’t drink coffee, I opted for simple green tea and wasn’t let down at all. They have seating in both of their spots. The only difference is one is much louder than the other. The baristas are nice and very knowledgable. This shop is the epitome of east vancity vibes and I can’t wait to return!

Revolver is a small coffee shop but it offers different coffee beans than other. They closed on Sunday that’s why I never intend to make a trip to try their coffee on weekdays or Saturdays. I finally made it on my day off. I don’t understand why everyone raves about this place. I mean it just ok, and the beans are not that bad but not great. Although I like organic beans the best for health reasons I still wanted to try this coffee everyone has been raving about. I quickly stopped by Revolver in Gastown. The staffs were friendly and service a bit slow. May be in order to get high quality brewed or specialized coffee would take more time. I had Tasting Flight which 3 coffee brewed one way that uniquely prepared coffee is their main highlight. It was good but not surprised me.

Amidst Vancouver’s ever evolving coffee culture, Revolver Coffee is probably the standard by which I usually compare all Vancouver coffee shops to with their serious attitude towards caffeinated beverages. I’m always a little overwhelmed by Revolver’s thoroughly diverse selection of pour over coffees. Watching them carefully brew your single cup of coffee made fresh to order right in front of you with precision is always a treat. They also make a refreshing Americano(iced here) full of cool espresso flavours. Revolver is extra cozy thanks to Archive, their attached/adjacent spillover space and retail outlet next door. I’m a sucker for a good piece of coffee cake and their raspberry coffee cake is suitably crisp and scrumptious with a nice lightness to it. It’s hard to beat Revolver when it comes to their overall coffee experience.

Dropped in to meet a friend who works in the area, it was 8.30am and the store was surprisingly quiet, no lineup, fast service, and the coffee — wow. There’s paragraphs of detailed breakdown of the coffee here in other reviews, all I can say is that the americano I had was very good. I’ll be back :)

At first I did not like this place. It was constantly busy, packed, lined up, and had no seats. But, I have found you come here during the week at the right times and it’s a really chill spot to grab a cup of joe. I knew there was something I was missing here and I am glad I held off on this review or it would been 3 stars, contrasting with many of the 4 – 5 star ratings. Lattes, sorry Timbertrain still wins. BUT, and there is always a butt. Revolver has one mean Americano. I came here and got a 10oz Americano heart, Portland. Added my usual sugar and milk and let me tell you it was one of the best I’ve had. It blew away Timbertrains Americano for sure. When I came in this time,(Tuesday evening) there was no line, I was pleasantly helped ordering and got my coffee in a timely fashion. There were seats and it was quiet which was what I needed and I chilled. And then wrote his review. Haha. Revolver, I think I finally see your charm. I shall be back a few more times to confirm this, and then you may just have a new duke coming up on your hands…
