Been there for haircut, witch seems to be ok, but the lady, who did my mani, was so generous with nail polish that has painted all around the nails. I won’t go there for mani or pedi ever again

I have been going to Pompadours on Denman for many years.
Lan is a great hairdresser and also Rizan is a very good esthetician. They offer great prices.

Anh Nguyen, she did my hair over year and turned out a wonderful job. If someone wants to get a hair cuts and color done go to her at Pompadours on west ends.

I’m new to Vancouver so I wasn’t really sure where to go. I looked around and found this place as it wasn’t far from my place. I was very happy with the service. Very friendly and they did a great job on my hair. I’ll definitely be returning!!! Great prices too!

Casual and relaxed and a little old fashioned, but in a very good way! Great for blow-​outs and only around 30 dollars which is a great deal.
All the staff are friendly and great at their jobs.

I am addicted to lash extensions and lan does a superior job even compared to the lounges just dedicated to lashes! For half the price as well. Lan is a great hair stylist and I am so glad I discovered her and this salon!

I’ve been going here for a few years now. Rany is the only one I really like getting my hair cut by. She always does a great job and is super friendly.

I went for a spray tan last night and the results turned out really well! All my coworkers noticed that I’m darker, but still very natural.
A few things they need to work on though. I arrived early for my appointment and the receptionist girl asked me to take a seat. I went to the washroom to wash off my makeup and came back to my seat. I ended up sitting there for 20 mins. The girl was chitchatting with another worker. Eventually my appointment time came up and I went up to her and asked her about my appointment. The girl who was doing the self tanner spray came out and said she was waiting in the back room for 10 mins. Thanks a lot receptionist. Maybe next time get off your blackberry, stop chit chatting with coworkers and do some work! She didn’t apologize and honestly, that’s all that would have taken on her part to put me in a better mood.
Anyway, I can’t base the tanning review entirely on her, so as for the tanning experience, it was great. The girl was friendly and apologized on the receptionist’s behalf. She had steady hands and spent a lot of time drying off the tan solution after she was finished with me.

ANYWAYS to the review… I have been coming here for several years. I have never had a problem and results are always good. People can make appointments with one of the hairdressers, you don’t have to do a walk in!

Well let me be the first to review on this lack of expertise salon …
I was in need of a trim to my front layers and decided to go to this hair salon which is close to work. I read good reviews on the Pompadours on W.4^th, so i figured i go in with confidence. Little did i know that my nightmare was to begin! I was set up with a very inexperienced hairdresser. She knew little English and was oblivious to my hair cut. She cut away and to my horror left me with layers front to back and a poorly cut to my bangs, she left it right above my eyebrows… I told her i was unhappy, yet she blamed me and told me to pay up the $ 45 yet she told me before the cut that it was going to be $ 25 …I’m still feeling the sadness and the anger. I warn anyone going in here to re-​think…
