Phantom Couriers

Amazing company. Mark is an amazing owner. Very hands on. Phantom is truly a great name for the company. They are fast and efficient. We have used them 2x now. Both times were as smooth as it gets.
I highly recommend Phantom with two bog thumbs up for their quality and customer service.

The driver is very nice to help move and place stuff in the car. But the customer see use is VERY RUDE. When they call they are not like talking but more accusing. I don’t know what the heck is wrong with the guy (owner or whatever) but I don’t like the service at all. It’s the 3^rd party of my shipping service which will deliver all my stuff but the staff’s attitude is intolerable.
I will definitely pay more for a better service other than choose there awful attitudes.

I am located in San Francisco, CA and I was trying to coordinate a delivery of hot chicken soup to a dear friend who was sick with a flu (alone, not eating for couple of days) in Barnaby, B.C.
I had spent about two hours researching, calling and negotiating without success when I found Phantom here at Unilocal.By this time, I was frustrated and exhausted from trying to get this done.
The minute Mark answered the phone at Phantom, I knew that my problem will somehow get solved. His creative and «can do» attitude was so reassuring. Basically, he bent over backwards and did a lot more than a any courier service will do to get my mission accomplished. In just about an hour, he had the soup picked up, pay for and delivered to my friend. Done!
Here is the story: I was traveling in Los Angeles without my lab top. So, I was using Skype on my smart phone to make calls to V.C. and doing all the research on my phone as well.
First, I had to find a restaurant that has good chicken soup near my friend’s house and then find a way to deliver it to him as none of the restaurants I found offered delivery.
I finally found a restaurant which had the kind of chicken soup I wanted near my friend’s home but they would not take credit card over the phone. I tried to negotiate this (as there weren’t any other way to pay for it) with the manager and then owner for an hour without success. So, I had to find a courier service who would take credit card payment for the food and for courier service, then go to restaurant to pay for the soup, and deliver.
I called numerous taxi and courier services in Vancouver area which I found through google. Most of them just didn’t want to deal with food delivery or if they were willing, would not take the assignment without a standing account. I found one place that didn’t require an open account but couldn’t take credit card payment. They also didn’t sound so friendly or professional. Finally, I found Phantom through Unilocal,Vancouver.
Mark at Phantom really made it happen. What I am most impressed with Mark is his willingness to listen and help. He was creative, flexible and super friendly as well as very professional. I almost want to have some type of business in Vancouver so I can use his service regularly. Thank you, Mark!

We don’t do a lot of shipping, but have used them about 4 – 5 times over the past year or so and everytime service has been outstanding! I’ve dealt with both Jeff and Mark and they’re both equally pleasant to deal with and efficient!
They seem to run a tight ship as never once had a problem with them. They seem to constantly be improving their service since I signed probably close to 2 years ago their ordering system has improved. I use to just call it in, then tried their «online» system, which i didn’t like too much because once i hit «send» i didn’t get any sort of confirmation that anything was sent to them, so I called in to ask to make sure they got my order (which they did).
Then later I noticed they had a new online ordering system, although I haven’t been able to use it because I keep getting an error when I try to install it, although I have a suspicion it’s probably due to my workplace firewall. I have since discovered during a conversation with Jeff that they’ve improved their online order system and I can now use this as an alternative. I can now login online and input all the details there. YIPPEE!
Don’t get me wrong, the guys are terrific, but I prefer to do things online as I find it more efficient than having to pick up a phone. LOL!
I’ve never met any of their couriers as pick up is at our reception, so can’t comment on them, but my review is based on my numerous transactions with Mark and Jeff and the knowledge that my items get picked up and delivered quickly! Even if i choose the slowest service, it always seems to get delivered quicker than the service time frame within downtown.
Anyways great job guys! Keep it up!
