This place was run by two of the most crooked people you’re likely to ever meet: Angela and Kosta. Would double charge credit cards and would continue to charge you after your membership expired. Luckily it went bankrupt. I hope they rot in hell.

«Eek! Methinks not» is the perfect summary for this gym. It seems quite old and needs a good tidy and clean(especially the men’s changing room around the base of the lockers). It does get the job done as a gym, but it is overpriced. Pros: staff are laid-back and not pushing sales and membership(like most other gyms). Cardio equipment is ok(I can never seem to get the heart rate monitors to work on the machines). It is quiet(because it is overpriced, dirty and poor facilities) Cons: Weights section is lacking for those wanting to do machine weights — and no lat bar pull down machine(grr). Free weights are free weights, seem the same at all gyms. Dirty. No fans or air circulation. Expensive(or more expensive) than other gyms that have better facilities. PS. I’m thinking that the first review is a bit suspicious. Reads like an advertisement. I think the drop in rate is more like over $ 20 anyway.

Went once, as a drop-in, with a friend who was a member. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Very dirty facility as well — I kept trying not to look at the grime-covered ceiling. My friend is no longer a member.

I had to find a gym downtown, and a friend told me about the Pantheon. The place is massive! It has about 20,000 square feet of gym space with a state of the art basketball court. It’s crazy. They have a whole floor for weights, then on for cardio equipment, and another section for heavy weights. There’s basically a room for everyone. The staff there are really humble and nice. They know how to treat new people by not hassling you for a membership. The drop in rate is reasonable($ 5 – 7) and there’s never a wait for equipment. What i like about the place is the juice bar. The girl or guy working there will create you one of their unqiue drinks(that is, when the bar is open). There are really good looking people working out there and they’re a little more friendly than at the YMCA or other meathead gyms. Worth a drop in. If you like sports, check in every once and a while to see if you can get into a basketball game. They’ll let you join in without an issue.
