OK, I have been picking up my lunch from here so often lately and I’m loving them! So much so that I have befriended the lovely folk of One Saigon. It seems to be a small family business. They have daily specials, ie: Monday — Baguette & Pop; Thursday — Shrimp Salad Rolls & Pop, etc. It’s really good if you’d like a meal and a drink together. Normally, I’d just get the items separately. The Shrimp Salad Rolls are standard here, which is good. It’s $ 3.60 per roll — I think it’s quite fair compared to the other places around downtown. Everything else is also quite fair in pricing. Their beef soup is tasty but unfortunately, not my favourite. They only have a very small space so, not much seating is available. It’s usually quite full at lunch time between noon and 1pm. Opt for take-out if you can during lunch. Other times, it’s lovely to just get away and sit by yourself in this little place for a nice, quiet meal.

Delicious food for low price. I bought 2 Banhmi sandwiches for $ 8.50(chicken and beef) and they were good. Loving the crispy delicious goodness. Their sandwiches are big as the ones from Viet Sub. They accept interac aside from cash transactions. Be sure to check out their daily specials.

Been here a few times, food is good but the service is absolutely terrible. The girl working at the front looks like she really hates her job, this is the second time I’ve been here with the same experience.

I love coming here for their specials. Their Thursday and weekend specials, 2 banh mis(baguettes) and lemongrass chicken with spring rolls respectively, are my favourites. Caution, the spring rolls are on the smaller side for the weekend special. I usually only order take out from here. Highly recommended to call in to place your order in advance especially during lunch hours. It’s a rather small restaurant so sometimes it’s rather crowded or impossible to get a seat during peak hours. Also since it’s on the small and crowded side, you might end up smelling like the restaurant if you dine in.

Usually it comes with basil, lime and bean sprouts all in one plate. Today they just gave me basil and lime without saying anything. So i asked for the bean sprouts and they said they dont have it anymore… But its only 12:30pm and they just opened one hr ! Even u dont have it, you should tell ur guest before we ask…

It’s a busy place during lunch hours but I was only 1 person, so I had no trouble getting a seat. I ordered the Shrimp salad roll and the Lemongrass chicken on rice. I paid up front and sat down and had my food very quick, which was great. Everything that I ordered was good, nothing special. I would like to see a better peanut sauce for the salad rolls, other than that I have no complaints. Service = Fast Food = Good enough That’s all I need for a quick cheap eat.

Located downtown near the Sheraton. It’s literally a block away from the hotel. I got a banh mi. It was around $ 4 – 5, average prices. Decent but not mind blowing. I wasn’t sure if there were other phở places around in the downtown area so I recommend coming here if you’re visiting downtown and looking for a quick cheap bite.

Decent, but not great. Husband and I decided to check this place out after being in the neighbourhood. I found it odd that they require you to order and pay up front even if you’re eating in. Meaning, I had to give a TIP even before I utilized their service. Beef Phở = decent amount of beef and the broth isn’t that bad but not great Banh Mi = a lot of fat in chicken and not enough real meat Salad Roll = almost gagged when I took a bite because they add basil in the roll and I absolutely despise basil. This is the first time I’ve ever had a Vietnamese restaurant put basil in a salad roll. Server never offered or brought us water. I had to make her«work» for the pre-tip we gave so I asked her for water and she seemed annoyed by my request…

I had lemongrass chicken and spring rolls. They were not bad but you can get the better one closed by. Vietnamese ice coffee is very good.

The staff are not the friendliest, service not the best… but the beef phở with basil and bean sprouts doused in sriracha is pretty heavenly. I also love the spring rolls, but the watery sauce they give you to dip doesn’t do the trick for me. I end up asking for the sweet and sour sauce(stashed in the back) which is sweeter, thicker and tastier! One thing that is always good is their Vietnamese iced coffees. Don’t forget to order one! One thing I hate is that whenever I go there, my entire outfit and hair smells of the place. Not good when going back to work! Yikes, gotta take a shower and wash the hair if I’m heading out for the evening… Can’t help that, only running in and getting take out will help the stench but then you’re wasting all the plastic containers… So I just end up smelling and eating in.

Just a narrow hole in the wall, mom and pop kinda place that gets passed by probably hundreds of times… but not this time. It’s not overly furnished, yet quaint and comfortably clean. The counter person(probably the owner, or owners wife) very friendly and helpful. You place your order at the counter, pay, and she brings it to your table if you’re dining in. If there was one thing that I’ve always wanted to try… it’s «Beef Stew Phở» On this cold rainy day, it was a welcomed sight, a bowl of steaming hot noodles! Although I’ve never had this dish before I thought the broth was wonderful, a cross between the tasty phở broth I’m used to, and a hearty beef stew gravy. I could taste the Asian basil, cilantro with their earthy sweetness, and also the rich beefy flavor of something like an Ox Tail stew. The vermicelli noodles were perfect al dente with just the right amount of chew. Big chunks of meat, and topped off with a handful of raw bean sprout just to give everything a little crunch. And since this is my first«Beef Stew Phở» experience, it’s hands down the best! I may not return here again but I’ll always remember where I had it first.

This place isn’t much to look at(seriously, it’s kinda ugly), but the food tastes good! I had the special — lemongrass chicken and spring rolls on vermicelli noodles — and it was fantastic for the price of $ 7.90+tax. I came with a party of five and everyone enjoyed the food. One of my dining companions ordered the wonton phở and couldn’t stop raving about it. I’ll definitely be back.

Likes, it’s location, I don’t think there anything like it around this neighbourhood. If you’ve read my other posts on Phở places, I always order the same thing, I’m so adventurous. Won Ton, nothing fancy, tasty, ya, could have been a bit more tasty but nothing a bit of hot sauce couldn’t fix. Price point was very good to average or vice versa. Friendly service and nicely appointed. I’d go back, that’s how I know if I like a place or not, It’s my A-OK list!
