The guys that run this place are super cool, always looking to help you out and give helpful advice. Everything I’ve had is very tasty and reasonably priced, especially for the quality.

I can only drool about this place. I feel sorry for people in other places because they may never experience this salami. I’ve been all over Italy, the Italians would approve.

Another great gem in the city. Best salamis in town, hands down. They would only carry few types at a time. And if you are lucky enough to come across salami with piave cheese, it is an experience let me tell you. I had it once, and for the last 2 months going back every weekend to find it again. No luck yet. Their lardo and guanciale are fantastic too. Their sausages are tip top, so their meatballs too. In the fresh meat section, you can find one of the best Angus rib-eye in the city. Service is always helpful, fast and with a big smile. They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.(love the attitude) Do yourself some good and stop by.

Local salumeria = heavenly noms. Everything looked so good. I wanted to eat everything. I got the Tartufo Salami, Argentinian Salami, sausages and Fresh Smoked Bacon. Both salami’s melted in my mouth. They were so nice and so friendly there, and they make everything fresh in their Port Coquitlam factory. Grass fed, pasture raised cured meats that are made with so much care and appreciation. What’s not to love?

I feel like I just had a religious experience. My new religion is named Moccia Urbani salumeria. An Italian meat market in my neighbourhood that serves local, grass fed, pasture raised, hormone and antibiotic free cured meats! –and if that isn’t alluring enough, it’s gluten free and the reasonable price will have you singing like an alter boy. When I read the ingredients of the Toulouse sausage I immediately knew I was in for a treat, the likes of which my little kitchen has never seen. White wine, smoked pork belly and nutmeg. o m g. I fried it up in a pan, tasted it, then added it to a tomato sauce. Tomorrow morning we try the bacon. Listen for the church bells. (New Years Day edit): The sausage was a big hit on our party table. I’m SO addicted already! That bacon is out of this world!

THEBEST Italian sausages I’ve ever had. I had both their handmade hot as well as the mild and they were lip smackin’ good. You are missing out if you don’t try this place. Yummy!

Meat, meat and more meat! Usually there are 13 different kinds of Italian salamis, and the absolute cheapest Parmesan and Pecorino cheese that I’ve ever found. Cut to your size. Try every salami before you buy it, then it’s sliced to your liking. The shopkeeper was the nicest guy and sent me along with some of their summer sausages for free, just to try. This is quickly my new favorite meat shop.
