When a man needs underwear where is he to go? I prefer briefs over boxers, just because the later can be a little loose in the junk area. Looking at the underwear section in the store I almost became very happy. But under closer look I noticed most of the sizes are mediums and large! Why, oh why are the small sizes all but hard to find? Even looking at the internet but unable to find a suitable place to buy my small size. I did find some small underwear which is a big surprise! Prices are reasonable and they sell lots of different types of t-shirts, pants and also work clothes. Love the selection of socks. Black or white! Not a fan of multi-colored socks, they make me look like a clown!

This location is inside Kingsgate Mall. I am a huge fan of Mark’s work warehouse that have clothes for the basic industries. Basic styles and designs, nothing fancy, just something simple to get you through the 9 — 5. This place is mostly geared toward the men, however, there are some limited things for women here. Prices are hit and miss, however, selection has always been decent. Customer service has been helpful.

***Three and a Half Stars*** This location of Mark’s Work Wearhouse always has a good selection of staple items for my work wear. I work in an office but its a cold office so I often need a few layers, which doesn’t seem to work well with super dressy clothes. But work clothes here are functional as well as stylish. I can get lots of matching and coordinating tops and bottoms that allow me to deal with working with Frosty The Snowman without wanting to lock him in the greenhouse. Pricing is always decent and even better is when there are SALES! Sales staff is helpful and friendly; available to help and answer questions without hovering around you doing the constantly-there-and-mildly-pressuring-salesperson-impersonation. I’ve also bought articles here for the men in my life and found the items well suited for their work lives.

The only reason I shop here is for my work boots, steel toed is a must. The reason I’ve decided to review this specific location is because of the superb customer service that I received. I’ve been hunting all over Vancouver for some boots for work, and I’ve left all different locations unhappy. I’ve tried many different stores and all the staff had been less than helpful, knowledgeable, or hardly present at all. The company I work for has an account here so I’m kinda forced to shop at Mark’s. The staff at the Kingsgate Mall location were the most friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable I’ve ever dealt with. The gentleman(Lance) helped me find the perfect type of boot for me. I never knew such specifics could be taken into account when purchasing a pair for my type of work, all jobs are different, and all require different specifications. This gentleman even knew all the varieties by model #…are you serious? I know this sounds like a corny review but I was honestly impressed by his dedication and was sure to let him know once I was finished. He hunted all over the lower mainland and even checked stores across Canada in order to get the precise pair in stock that I requested. If anything, this review is based solely on customer service but that is exactly what is missing in the workforce today. Great job guys and you will be my one and only location I go to next year.

Growing up in Saskatchewan, Mark’s was a bit of a staple store in my house hold… Dad would get all his attire for working on the farm. that’s right I grew up on a farm… I have great memories of shopping at Mark’s as a kid. getting plaid flannel shirts, wool socks and overalls… and this is what I though Mark was still all about… so I was surprised to find on in Kingsgate Mall… I went in out of curiosity to check it out and was shocked at how many items peaked my interest… they not only have work clothes for the working man that needs flannel shirts and overalls. but also the office working man. who needs dress shirts and dress pants… it’s all«men’s men» attire. basics with no real fashionability .’cause you know when a store offers dress pants with pleats that they are not trying to appeal to any fashionistas. BUT nothing wrong with good standard basic right? I can totally appreciate a good 100% cotton wrinkle resistant shirt and pant and the non-iron shirt are actually pretty great! Also. I found a few work belts that were nice. and everything is really affordable. I may have found a new guilty pleasure shopping joint for my work clothes… I’ll just tell everyone I got them at Banana Republic :)
