AVOIDATALLCOSTS. This place is a joke. Went in with sinus problems. Useless Chinese male doctor comes in(don’t have his name but will update when I do), asks why I’m there. I explain my situation, and that the symptoms are restricted to my sinuses. No fever, no chills, no malaise, no cold symptoms. He proceeds to take my temperature, and tells me I have a fever at 37.7 degrees C. He then tells me I have a cold, and writes some OTC cold meds on a prescription pad. He REFUSES to even look at my nose, despite that being the reason for my visit. He begins his exit as I tell him once again I am not having any cold symptoms, nor a fever, and that I’ve had this sinus problems before. He then tells me, in so many words, that he’s the doctor and that’s too bad if I feel that way. So I am stuck with no care or means of relief for my symptoms. Needless to say I am never going here again, no matter how desperate I am to see a doctor. I have told my friends and family how extremely incompetent and rude the staff here were and I hope that they never set foot in this sad excuse for a medical office. If you are in the South Van area and need a walk in clinic, go across the street to the one located upstairs in Superstore. Much nicer staff, who actually listen to your symptoms and put a little faith in their patients understanding of their own bodies(ie. I know what a cold feels like and this is not one). Overall an extremely unprofessional place. My experience is that they do NOT provide medical care for their patients. They just want to get bodies in and out. If I could give this zero stars I would.

Just stopped on on a Saturday morning for a refill on a perspective. I’m from out of province so there was a fee associated but the receptionists were great, they outlined how I can file a claim for it with my provincial provider. I signed in and waited about 40 minutes which seemed like an acceptable amount of time considering the waiting area was quite full. I saw Doctor Thakotlal he was very polite asked a few general questions and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Overall I would say it’s a great spot for basic medical needs when you are without a local GP

The doctor(Thakorla) was terrible. He didn’t listen to my symptoms, he was busy doing his charts. The whole appointment lasted only 1 minute. He looked at my hands for 1 second and told me I had skin allergy, he prescribed steroid cream, which did nothing to help with my condition. It turns out I caught the Hand, foot and mouth disease and it’s contagious. Will never go back! Beware.

Best walk-in clinic I’ve been to! Super clean and the staff are friendly. Usually open until 9pm, but I’m not sure of their current hours. I was in at 9:30am on a Friday. I was put in an exam room within 10 minutes and given the morning paper to read. The dr. saw me about 10 minutes later and she was fantastic. I went in thinking I’d cracked a rib snowboarding, but it turned out to be a bad muscle strain. Got a prescription for the pain and advice on how to treat it at home. Highly recommend.

How unbelievable did I find it today when I sought a medical walk-in clinic in which to get a troubling cough looked at! Apparently clinics have a daily count down on see-able patients. Once that number is met — no further patients are seen! And of course the clinic near my home is no longer a walk-in(appointment only) and closes daily at 5pm while I am working(2 busses away). Sad Anyhow. I called this clinic around 1pm to ask A) if they could administer the whooping cough vaccine and B) if they could test for it. After holding for 5 minutes the call taker return to say they only had child whooping cough vaccinations (out of the adult ones) and yes they can test. When I arrived and registered my info I actually only had to wait 20 minutes(if it was that). They left the door open and in about 10 minutes an Asian doctor appeared. A few dis-interested questions later he grabs his stethoscope to hear my breathing but says nothing so I ask if I’m supposed to be breathing a specific way. He seems confused and then suggests I breath regularly. An then it got hinky. My lungs are not under my boobs! All over and too close under-nothing like any doctor ever did before. He then says I’m not wheezing so it must be asthmatic. To which I ask about the whistling breaths. He says that’s not wheezing so I then state that it doesn’t seem normal. He says he can’t test for whooping cough and I reply that I’d asked and was told he could. Personally I felt he couldn’t be bothered as he prescribed an inhaler to «calm my throat» ???
