Affordable, simple and tasty. Their lunch specials are a great value. It’s an ideal place to go for a Sunday lunch and then get groceries right after on Fraser St!

Hidden place not known… a small thai resto can house only 20 person, wifi free courtesy of telus, street parking, family owned and excellent service, one man show when i visited but still service is quick and awesome… affordable food. yummy thai cuisine, cash and card ok, noise level is average… i had the pine apple fried rice and a togo of chicken cashew… they both comes with fried spring roll and taste yummy… the blending of flavors and spicyness is just right for me im satisfied…

I Love this place, although I feel like its not well known. First off for Thai food in general is always expensive, but at Lovely Thai it is reasonable. Specially if you come in for lunch… Less than $ 8 will get you a bowl of rice, a main course and a spring roll during lunch. Also they do delivery on all orders over $ 30. This is my new favorite Thai place and my boyfriend loves it too.

Decent space, customer service was slow and politeness. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. Fills you for the time, however, 20 minutes later you’re hungry again. I came here for a business lunch.

I was happy to see a Thai restaurant near my house, and even happier to see that they have delicious and LARGE pad Thai. Looking forward to going back and trying the coconut curry.

Awesome little place! The Pad Thai here is to die for… And at only $ 10 it’s a steal!

Solid 3.5 stars, considering not much in this area for Thai that’s walking distance. Did takeout order again last week for their pad thai, something easy to eat without needing to mix green curry coconut curry with rice; just holding chopsticks is the natural thing to do ;) It’s good, not great, as you can see from pic, it’s quite a bit of noodles, plenty of chopped nuts made the bonus star for me. Being a typical-size resto along Fraser, it’s fine for a small group of 4 max, ideally for 2. Can’t say it’s authentic, absence of Thai fixtures, but it’ll get the job done, clean and all. Prices are reasonable with most lunch items under $ 10. They only deliver evenings.

Not authentic Thai food. Pad Thai is ketchup based and you can taste the ketchup. Overall the quality of the pad thai and masaman currey were not good. Big portions and cheap, but not worth it. I will not eat their food again. I actually had way better Thai food in Mexico.

Literally just ordered dinner from there. Had to order a lot of crappy food so they would deliver.(25 $ plus) The spring rolls are literally deep fried peppery air. Weird The curry is bland and watery! And doesn’t come with rice? That’s a side order. And he didn’t mention it? I love Thai food. Ordered it all the time in different cities. Take my advice. Get mcdonalds over this dinner. Lameo!

how to put this about this place… this place is «unintentional healthy», their food is cheap, but is the right amount of what you pay, yet still tasty enough to be a restaurant food not tasteless but not heavy, very generous portion, and very decent price

My fiancé and I have been looking for a good Thai restaurant near us for a while and I’m happy to say we have found a really great one! The restaurant is very clean. The service was fast and the waitress was attentive(filling water, making sure everything was okay). The price is average for around here($ 7-$ 12 a plate). I got the Seafood Chow Mien and he got the Pad Thai. Both plates were really flavourful and they actually complemented each other. I really don’t have anything bad to say about this place, I just don’t like to give out 5s very often unless something is overly spectacular about the place. I am definitely a fan of this restaurant and I will definitely come back often.

We got pineapple fried rice and pad Thai. The rice was par for the course, pretty good. The pad Thai was not good. Sweeter than I’ve had before, and not in an appealing way. Will not return

Simple, fresh Thai with a ‘home-cooked’ flavour. Large lunch menu($ 7.95) — we usually order vegetarian curries or stir-fries, and the food’s always fresh and flavourful — never salty or swimming in oil like some other Thai places in Vancouver. Small, clean, no-frills restaurant, with friendly staff and cook. Great place to stop at when running errands in the neighbourhood. Take-out is quick too.

We happen to live near this little gem of a restaurant — it was my lovely wife who first introduced me to it. By far our favourite is their«Thai Chili Fried Rice» which can be chosen with chicken, beef or pork as it’s meat component. We have many a time ordered this out, and earlier today we sat in house to see what the seating atmosphere was like. Other dishes of note are their Curries with Rice(available in Red, Green and Yellow), and another nice order is the Cashew Chicken. Overall Lovely Thai is a great place to get generous tasty meal at a very fair price. We will continue to stop here regularily.

First time here and it was indeed lovely. I had the cashew chicken, and my husband had the pineapple fried rice. Very reasonable lunch specials: $ 7.95 and it comes with a spring roll and rice!

Great little Thai place in a neighborhood that really needed one. We’ve been searching for a good place since we moved to the area a few years back and always end up driving for miles for pickup. Food was flavorful without too much salt. Curry was great and Pad Thai was tender with lots of shrimp. Delivery was quick and food was still hot. Will order from here again for sure. Will have to try the Thom Yum and Papaya Salad next. I have not eaten in but picked up the menu there and it seems clean and the staff were very friendly.
