Monika and Joe have been so wonderful to me. I had the misfortune of choosing the wrong jewelery maker for my wedding and engagement ring that has caused me a lot of grief due to shotty workmanship. I came to LL Private Jewellers to have my stones tightened and ended up leaving with a wealth of knowledge. With the help of Monika and Joe I was able to renegotiate a new better made ring at no cost from my old jewellers. They are so welcoming and kind which makes the whole process wonderful. I would absolutely recommend LL Private Jewellers for any jewellery needs, Joe takes such pride in his work and it shows in the customer service as well as his creations.

Monika and Joe were fantastic to work with. We had ordered my unique style engagement ring off Etsy (low set bezel sapphire with a very thin band) and were having so much trouble finding a local jeweler who could make a wedding band that would sit flush under the stone. I emailed LL Private Jewellers and Monika replied right away saying it would be no problem. When we went in for our first appointment, Monika made us feel completely at ease and was so down to earth and understanding of what we were looking for, with absolutely no sales pressure. They first made the wedding band (very quickly I must say!) and when it didn’t quite fit properly with my very thin engagement ring, they agreed to redo my engagement ring band at minimal cost and Joe ended up completely remaking the wedding band at no extra charge (resetting the 12 tiny diamonds) to ensure the rings fit together perfectly. They had the rings redone and my e-​ring back on my finger all within a week! I couldn’t be happier with the results and the level of service we received. Monika and Joe definitely went the extra mile to ensure I was happy! I just wish we had gone there first! I couldn’t recommend them enough.

I am so thrilled that I discovered this hidden gem. I had an heirloom diamond pendant from 1910 that a stone had fallen out of and had taken it elsewhere only to be told that I would have to learn to live with the hole because it was irreparable. Monika and Joe were friendly and knowledgeable and had it fixed and better than new in less than 48 hours. Highly recommend this business!

I knew that someday I would need a reliable jeweller to care for my wife’s diamond ring and perhaps make another ring or two for us. I didn’t have any recommendations but was blessed to stumble upon this wonderful young couple. Monika was personable, welcoming and knowledgeable. She introduced me to her partner Joe, who was an expert jeweller with a lifetime of experience at jewellery repair and creation. They carefully documented every aspect of the ring I left with them for repair. They gave me documents with all the measurements of the diamond and band and a firm quote for the rebuilding of the ring.
When I picked up the rebuilt ring, it was better than the original and for a very reasonable price.
Accordingly, I would highly recommend LL Private Jewellers to anyone who needs personable, expert and reliable jewellery repair or custom work.

We came to Monika and Joe after having a negative experience at another jewellers. They were nothing but lovely. They really took their time with us, and understood what we wanted. We brought them an antique setting that was in rough shape. They were able to completely restore it. It looks even better than I imagined it. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to friends. LL Private Jewellers are patient, understanding, honest, and fair. They truly want you to get what you want and won’t let you leave until you are happy with their work. We will definitely be coming back here for other jewellery needs. They are lovely people who take great pride in their work. I cannot express how fortunate I was to come across this wonderful company. Prior to working with them, I had spent several months trying to find the right ring. Find the right company to collaborate with. None of them would really take me seriously, or put in the effort to help my find the unique diamond & style I was looking for.
Most of the companies would try to convince me to get a different diamond, and go for a more conventional style. Even Barney’s New York had failed to give me any decent customer service to help me find the perfect ring for my fiancé. LL Private Jewellers welcomed me with open arms, and put in an insane amount of effort to help me find the right diamond, and designed one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I have ever seen.
Their custom work is absolutely second to none, and their customer service skills are absolutely amazing. They took the stress out of the entire process, and allowed me to feel relaxed and confident that my engagement ring would be perfect.

I am in love with my engagement ring! I wanted to use my mum’s diamond from her engagement ring but a new setting. We had a consultation on Friday and I was able to get my new setting the following Friday. It is beautiful! Joe did an amazing job, and we were able to watch him switch the stones over to the new setting while we waited. They even had it appraised at that appointment. Monika was very friendly and made the whole experience a wonderful and memorable time.

My experience with LL Private Jewelry has been very positive. I went there to have re-​sized 3 rings and also I needed an independent appraisal on a custom made ring. It took them 24 hours to get it done: they re-​sized my rings (they did a very good job resizing them), one of them I think was acid washed and polished because it looked like new (I didn’t ask them to do it), and they gave me their appraisal. It cost me $ 120 ($ 40 for three rings). There was no fee for appraisal as I didn’t ask for a formal one (I guess on paper). The customer service was good as well. Monica was very friendly and very helpful. And patient. I guess I looked little bit paranoid (I had never done before) leaving my rings (with diamonds :-)) so when I asked her to email me a photo (as I understood they always take photos of all peaces of jewelry they take for repair) of my rings as another confirmation in addition to the invoice — she didn’t mind. Furthermore, she texted me next day when the rings were ready for pick up even though I didn’t ask her. And when I showed up to pick them up there was the master, ready to adjust my rings more right away if they were not perfect. With no fee. That is why I find my experience with this place very satisfying and definitely recommend!

We give LL Private Jewellers 5 STARS! Fabulous service, very friendly and HONEST. It was great to have a female and male set of eyes on our custom work. My fiancée and I LOVE my engagement ring — it is very unique and they brought my personality and vision to life! We did not feel pressured to buy «bigger» stones, or to do something less complicated and they found us a lovely champagne (or called cognac) diamond that we wanted instead of the classic white. My ring embodies my personality, and LL Private Jewellers got that right away, and could see how it fit with my personality (nature girl, eco-​concious etc). It is a vine with 2 asymmetrical leaves, 2 small flowers (1 on bottom of band for me to see!) and flower buds, with a centre stone, lots of engraving and detail, all set in rose gold. We loved that we were kept in the loop the whole time with photos of each stage sent to us. We are excited to use their exceptional services again for our wedding bands. Monika and Joe treated us more like old friends rather than clients, which made the whole experience comfortable and pleasant. I wanted to know and talk to the person working on the ring. There is no middle man with Monkia and Joe, they are the ones working on the ring and the ones you speak with. Joe is an amazing custom jeweller. He is a master at his work, he designs, engraves, is a goldsmith, sets diamonds, resizes and much more. His workshop is in their offices and he is very easy to talk to and truly listens to what you want.
Monika is a diamond expert and gave us honest, accurate advice. Their exceptional work brought our vision to life. Every time I look at my ring I could not be happier.
