This is a great place to get fashionable clothing for a decent price — great for the student budget! The prices are cheap, but like what the others said, don’t expect stellar quality. A lot of what they carry follows current fashion trends and I feel fine spending less for lower quality, seeing as trends changes from year to year. Definitely will be returning the next time I’m in the neighbourhood.

This store is good when they’re having sales only. They have some cool tops but nothing special, the sizes are quite small too. I bought a cute black dress here and it’s not bad, although the quality of the fabric is somewhat shady. I would say this store resembles Jolie a lot.

Lila is the kind of store that you almost don’t see the ugly in something because of all the ultra low price tags – especially when they’re having a sale along the lines of $ 20 for anything. The clothes in-store are made from cheap-feeling poly-blend fabrics and they’ve been surged together who knows where. There are lots of gaudy beads, sequins, and glitter, plus the odd cute item with quality being the failing component. On the last $ 20 sale I circled the store three times looking for anything that seemed worth the price or that I’d like for more than five minutes. I left empty-handed.

A close Aussie girl-friend of mine calls shops like these, ‘cheapy’ shops, implying not only the price, but the general, overall quality of the items being sold. I am never one to put down a good price for less than stellar craftsmanship, so if you are looking for über-trendy, non-natural fibered clothing(often good for a night out when you just need something quick, cheap and new), Lila’s is the right store.
