Kiwassa Neighbourhood Services

Here I’m reviewing just the summer daycamp aspect of this organization. Great stuff! There’s a good number of staff and volunteers, thus any child needing assistance (bathroom, change of clothes, slower pace, crafts, etc) receives it. The leader, Sophia, is on the ball, observing how things are going, handing out feedback request forms, etc. A good range of activities –lots of outings. All the staff and volunteers were relaxed, friendly, and outgoing, engaging all the time with the children and their parents. Staff was able to honour requests or tips (about care for a given child) from parents, and also communicated well anything that may have arisen on a given day. They use wrist bands with Kiwassa’s phone number to support children’s safety. All of this, and super affordable to boot! I’m impressed and very grateful! Our kids –from the most confident to the most shy and sensitive– had an awesome time!
