To: Kerrisdale Dental Unilocal Google Plus Re: Kudos for Kerrisdale Dental I would just like to commend the staff at Kerrisdale Dental Centre, Vancouver, BC, for their great service and dental work. I started using Kerrisdale Dental about 20 years ago, the story of why I drive to Vancouver for my dental work is not important, but I have been very happy with their work and it continues to be worth it for me to drive there.(Besides, Vancouver is very beautiful, and sometimes I stay over for a night). I started seeing Dr Kassam 20 years ago, and was always totally satisfied with his excellent service, but have not seen him lately. I believe he has an office in downtown Vancouver and is not in the Kerrisdale office as much. My first encounter with Dr Tejani was much appreciated. I had a terrible toothache, and he came into the office on his day off to do a root canal, and it was a tough root canal. I was so impressed. I have been seeing Dr Tejani since, and continue to be impressed. He has«saved» a couple of teeth that were on the verge of being pulled. I had two crowns replaced there recently, and everything is doing well. Then the whole staff is the office is friendly, helpful, fun. I commend not only the doctors, but Sharon, Elaine, and Erin for their good work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. With gratitude, Sandy Staples-Hector

I’ve had such a terrible experience here. One of my teeth broke at the end of January, forcing me to go in for an emergency visit. After a consultation it was decided that I needed a crown, but that I’d need to have a full checkup done. I had that done and was told I’d need a few crowns beside the one I already needed. I had to wait for the proper items to be filed with my insurance company, at which point I was told to scan and email the estimates back. I did that and called to ask what the next steps were. I was told they would need to look over the insurance estimate because the insurance company sometimes«gets it wrong.» I didn’t hear back for a week, so I called back and was told there was some additional paperwork I needed to get to them. I did, and waited another week and a half without hearing anything. I called back again and was told yes, I can book an appointment for my teeth, and that it would be a few thousand dollars because the dentist wanted to do everything at once. I explained that I’d have to split my appointments up because I just didn’t have the money to cover everything in one go, and wanted to know why I couldn’t just get the one crown to start, and then continue on every few weeks. It’s now been THREEMONTHS since my tooth broke, and now I’m experiencing discomfort in my broken tooth to the point that I’m sure I need a root canal. I’ve never felt like I was an afterthought so much in my entire life. I will be taking my xrays elsewhere and will be visiting another dentist.
