Kelley is AMAZE-​BALLS!!! Sadly she’s now jetting up and down North America for Kevin Murphy but if you ever get a chance to have this woman cut, colour, style or anything your hair, you will love it! Jump at the chance.

Kelley is incredible. I moved to Vancouver in 1999 and have been looking for a hairdresser for my ridiculous amounts of over (home) processed, long, curly hair. I scoured the internet for people with good reviews, I asked friends, I stopped people on the street who had nice hair and yet no one could tame my mop.
Then one day I was moaning to my friend about just this state of affairs and he said «you should come to my hairdresser — she’s amazing!». And so she was Cinderella. So she was.
Kelley was my Christmas present last year — my first appointment was on the 23^rd of December (she has online booking but you need to book WELL in advance as she is super busy) — and it was the best Christmas present EVER. She sat down and actually asked me what I wanted from my hair before she even started wielding a pair of scissors. She told me what she thought I should expect from my hair. And then she started cutting… and cutting… and cutting. My hair is the same length, but I have layers for Africa now, and it curls beautifully with just a little product and absolutely NO WORK. I am lazy as all get out when it comes to blow drying (read: I don’t) so it’s perfect for me.
Kelley is the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. Hands down, without question. And I have been to a lot — A LOT — of hairdressers. And the crazy thing is, she’s always going to other salons to learn MORE, so she’s just getting better and better and better. If you care about your hair; if you have problem hair; or if you just want to go to an amazingly friendly, sweet, funny person to get your hair cut, get this woman to cut it. Man or woman, you will not regret it.

Kelley is, hands down, the best stylist in Vancouver. She is warm, engaging, funny and incredibly talented.
She has been my stylist for over three years. I have followed her from Moods (in Yaletown) to Burke & Hair (in Gastown) and now to her own gorgeous salon at 55 Water St.
The new salon is beautifully finished and, with only two chairs, built for a focused and client centred experience.
