Outstanding venue in terms of space and view. Came here in the past several times for FHS events. Also available for weddings too, probably can fit 100 ppl easily. A huge outdoor patio. Underground parking too but lots of metered parking all around.

I stumbled upon Jewel Ballroom while looking for venues for my wedding, the décor on it’s own matches my chosen colors which helped and has an amazing view of English Bay and Yaletown which was a beautiful background to my wedding photos on their large balcony They offer a variety of packages to suit any budget and can service anything you throw at them, as an out if town client I found them to extremely helpful and the fact that they are full service and all I had to worry about was my centerpieces and décor relieved so much stress Every single one of my guests was in awe of this hidden gem and I would not hesitate to book with them again if I were to book another party in Vancouver!

As a venue space, The Jewel Ballroom is good in the raw space, blank canvas category. It’s a little dated, but it is also hidden in a building, adding to it’s mystique. The foyer to the building isn’t very telling or chic, but there is a grand piano stationed when you get off of the elevator, if you’re into that kind of thing. Event planners and brides with the chops to transform rooms would probably enjoy their project. The jem of the Jewel is the patio, in my humble opinion anyway, especially with the downtown view it bestows on it’s guests. Or, if you’re into elegance that’s just about retro, the room, as is, might be just your style. Bar staff are pleasant, their cash bar accepts credit cards and they have the usual suspects when it comes to beer and wine, just don’t expect anything fancier than Granville Island or Sumac Ridge. Happy eventing!
