Nick and nack and brick and brack… (Sorry, again with the AbFab quotes… I really should make a list) Interesting store with all kinds of interesting things. Kimonos and Chinese silk jackets. Chinaware, teapots, gift sets. Bamboo products. Planters, pots and fountains. Jewelry and loose stones and baubles. Figurines. Lovely and friendly service.

As with nearly all of the shops I visited in Chinatown, this store has more than one name: its display name and the name of the actual company running the joint, which appears on its card. I am not completely sure why this is the case with the majority of Chinatown import shops, but regardless, I will save you the confusion and put both: the name that appears on the business card here is Jia Zhong International Trade Company. Now back to the review and less of the rant, Huan Xin carries all sorts of quality and less than stellar quality Asian imports from intense, traditional and unique jade and agate carvings, traditional Chinese hand painted snuff bottles to sparkly brooches, silk kimono like housecoats and silk scarves. Slippers, fans, hair pins, bags and other such interesting items make wandering around Huan Xin a bit of an eclectic trip… that is, until I visited a few other shops like this, with each having their own unique imports but with much of the same vibe. I purchased a black and white zebra print silk scarf for $ 20.00, a bargain!
