If I was on Home Hardware’s legal team, I’d consider giving these guys a call LOL. Same colours, same business. Your usual home/kitchen stuff, from pots/pans to drinking glasses, silverware to soap dispensers. Not major names unless T Fal suits your fancy. Silverware sets on your right side walking in. What sucks here is sales are final, not even exchanges, so that’s where you lose another star. Free street parking.

Crowded full of good quality merchandise at fairly respectable prices and quite simply one of my favorite stores!

I have made some dietary adjustments in my life this year. I needed to upgrade and purchase certain equipment in light of these dietary adjustments. I found most of these items here, however, what I really came all the way down for they didn’t have. This is no fault of the stores. I just maybe misunderstood or misread the reviews when I did a Unilocal search. Basic rule of thumb is that if it is battery operated or a plug in… they don’t carry it. If the logo outside the store and the font looks familiar that is ’cause they are owned by the same people as Home Hardware. There is a shit load of cheap deals, some even compatible to the dollar store.

Corelle heaven. If you have some Pyrex missing a lid or want to replace those unbreakable bowls, this is the place to be. I changed to using Pyrex to use for microwave and often times it’s the plastic lid that is broken or crack, you can find replacements here. They have a Wednesday Sale every week, so if you are eyeing a expensive pot, get on their email list and it might come on sale. My favorite place to shop for kitchen ware, and the quality of the pots last and price is reasonable.

If you cook/bake or just moved in and need to stock your entire kitchen, this is the one stop shop for you. Don’t look any further because you won’t find better prices for the brands they carry. I bought all my Corelle dishware here and they also carry Luminart, Bormioli, Corningware, Faberware, Baker’s Secret, Pyrex, etc. They also carry some Umbra stuff for a bit cheaper. I also get a lot of my cleaning supplies from here, such as microfibre cleaning cloths for $ 1. This place gets dangerous because you keep throwing $ 1 items into your basket! It’s a little cramped(especially on weekends) and they jam-pack their shelves but the selection is excellent for such a tiny place. For example, they carry about 10 different types of mortar & pestles! And even the marble ones are less than $ 10! They always have good deals, and sometimes sales on top of the already reduced prices, and free 2hr parking is available in the back all along Fraser St so you can run other errands at the same time.

This is one place where you can get some great deals on kitchen ware. If you know what you are looking for and you are after high quality stuff, it is possible that you will find it here. Mind you, there is also a lot of low quality crap here, but they do have some high quality stuff. Example? Lodge logic cast iron, made in USA, not China. I just got an 8″ skillet over the weekend for use as an omelette pan $ 20. Embrace cast iron — throw out that non stick stuff! The aisles are packed and there is typically a lot of people wandering around looking for stuff. If you’re Asian and you’re looking for a multi-level steamer, chances are, you will find it here. Actually, all over Fraser Street in this area, you should be able to find a steamer. One strange thing about the place is the balding owner(at least he acts like he is). He is usually, if not always up front by the cash registers looking out for either shoplifters, or making sure the cash tills are not being skimmed by his employees. That’s the vibe I get from this dude. He looks like he doesn’t trust anyone. One warning, all sales are final, so make sure you know what you are buying.

If you are looking for kitchenware this place has got some great deals. Plateware from Corelle and others. I like their made in Korea non-stick pans/woks they last longer than others and great price too. They have cast iron pans as well. Some items you need to know the prices or you will pay too much. Every now and then they have big sales and it gets crowded with a line up outside.
