Don’t go here! What are these people thinking? First I walk in and see a lifeless girl in a hoodie who tells me to sit. Alright, fine. I see on the menu Japanese food and Vietnamese food. Why not throw in Chinese food and pizza and hamburgers while you’re at it? I rest my hands on my table and something sticky gooey stuff is now on my hands. I order the spring rolls and prawn salad roll. What a bunch of crap! The spring rolls were filled with potato or some kind of mystery starch and the prawn salad roll was stuffed with iceberg lettuce! Tasted horrible! I should not have came in! To compliment Kenneth N’s review, I had that bad oil taste in my spring rolls. Maybe they should change the rancid fryer oil? Very upset. I am insulted and hurt. They have insulted my intelligence by trying to feed me crap as if I am stupid. We I guess I am stupid because I paid for the crap! I’m off to McDonald’s after this sitting!

How this place still is in business is quite beyond me; guess all the medical/office workers give enough action here, considering there’s like another dozen sushi places in the area right on Broadway. Today, I stepped in, and stepped right out after noticing some type of unusual smell – like bad oil? Now i know why I last came here 3 years ago lol. Seriously, it’s not authentic, 80’s furniture, and though i’m not crazy over a newer place like Black Dragon down the block, at least it’s cleaner, more modern-looking & safer to eat; i just can’t recommend this place if a Unilocaler asked me.

This is a decent sushi diner. It’s definitely family-run and a good place to stop in. The sushi bar is a little tight, but it’s decent enough. Just saw on Beki L’s review that they have Vietnamese food, too. They hide that pretty well! I think they’d do well by having a marketing person visit and offer some tips for customer engagement and merchandising, but you won’t leave here upset that you went in. I visit about once a month or so…

I was craving sushi… So popped into this place for a quick bite. I love sunomono salads and order them every time I have sushi. Sadly this was probably the worst one I had. The sushi itself was good. Nothing off the charts, but I was impressed with the pricing. Overall I wouldn’t seek this place out, but if your strolling by… I suppose it will work.
