I just popped in to check out the place while going into Walmart. I was thrilled to find chalk paint being carried in the store. The women working there was extremely knowledgeable and experienced with refurbishing furniture. If you are looking for honest, experienced advise for painting hardwood furniture go to her! Get the Chalk paint and have a good chat with the woman covered in paint. You will not regret it.

While I found the staff to be a bit pretentious they were quiet knowledgeable and i found exactly what i was looking for(old Coca~Cola bottles, not a real antique/vintage store if you do not have them!) and more at this store. Cannot wait to go back.

This unknown gem is full of props, furniture and knick-knacks from various film sets. Everything from lamps, tables, dressers, kitchen items, vintage toiletry items, and even cans with vintage labels. Need a full-size knight in armour? Got it. Need a 60’s kitsch sideboard? Got it. Need a 8 foot Grecian pole? Got it. Need a larger-than-lifesize horse? Got it. But they also have a lot of mundane and regular items in good condition. Bedroom sets and living room furniture in nearly-new condition. I was on the hunt for cheap stuff that I could revamp and DIY. I found a wicker bench seat for $ 60. The fabric was stained and it wasn’t comfortable to sit on, but the wicker wasn’t broken anywhere, the feet were stable, and only 1 chain was missing. I got it home, repainted it, got a new piece of foam and new fabric, then reupholstered the seat.

What a find! Filmgo, as the name suggests, sells off former movie props… for cheap. The majority of items on sale are furniture or household goods, but you’ll find the occasional pair of sunglasses or shoes too. Not much really to say here, except you can find some beautiful stuff, at beautiful prices. I will be furnishing my next home from here, no question.
