No frills place where the owner seems to know everyone, which I love. It’s very reasonably priced and the food is your basic breakfast fare — nothing spectacular– but definitely worth it in value and service. I would return!

My family and I discovered this place after visiting our dentist nearby. Prices are fantastic for kits. 2 Eggs, Toast/or extra has as a sub, hash browns, and susages for 5.95 is my go to here. They are quick as a lick fulfilling orders, and even provide table service. Tip: Ample water pitchers and cups for self serve thirst quench at no additional cost to in front of and to th right of the order counter.

Food is good great service. Had the egg Benedict under $ 6. Food was great price was very good. But best of all was the service. Efficient, fast with a smile. By looking at the owner it must be a family business. I am impressed and I will go back when I am in the area. I just came from back 2 health seeing Jaimie Hennessy. The restaurant was 3 doors down. So on my next chiropractor appointment I will go here to eat.

Great«greasy spoon» dinner. Classic look and feel. Best part is the food tastes great and very reasonable pricing. Thanks again Peter.

It’s a basic café with soup, sandwiches and coffee. It is decently priced and the food is okay, however, it is nothing to write home about. Customer service was okay.

Good food for half the price of what you would expect in kits. It’s a family run business and the owners are super nice.

Best hole-in-the-wall diner I’ve found in Kits. The food is unbelievably cheap and very tasty for what you’re paying. I’ve come here with my boyfriend, ordered more food than we can possibly eat, tipped 50% and still spent less than $ 20 between the two of us. And it’s breakfast all day. Every day. What more needs to be said? My only complaint if I had one would be that their hours don’t seem to be that regular. On the door I believe it says they’re open until 5pm most days, but I could swear I’ve come at like 3:30 only to find that they were closed. Luckily there are great sushi restaurants on either side of Evelyn’s, plus Thai food down the block in the unfortunate event that this happens.

I’ve been meaning to come in here for years. It’s a shame I didn’t come in sooner. Great breakfast at an absolute pittance. Family run and super friendly. What more could you ask for in a hole-in-the-wall dinner? Except decent coffee I suppose, which they also have. Get the pancakes!

Super cheap family business and a little better than you’d expect for the price. This place is great for simple all day breakfast or a cheap burger. Love coming here for a nice breakfast and it’s easy on the wallet. Nothing special with the décor but the customer service is consistently great. Keep up the good work guys! Please open on Sundays! :(

Great place for a meal like one my parents would make at home. Good prices and a better value than going to a crappy fast food place. Hidden gem in a retail/office area. I enjoyed my cheese and mushroom burger a lot and will definitely come back.

Awful eggs benny, tasted like gas. The coffee was good at least. Friendly, prompt service too. I’d eat here again but wouldn’t order hollandaise!

The nearby sushi place was closed at 3(What Sushi place closes at 3?) So I ended up deciding to try this place instead. Cheap breakfast ALLDAY? Say hello to Evelyn’s. Most breakfast places you end up paying 10 – 15 bucks for a combo but at Evelyns the total rings to about 5 – 6 for bacon, pancakes and more? Am I complaining nope nope. I’m in some kind of breakfast bliss. This place is a cute little dinner that fits my budget with friendly staff. I kind of wish this breakfast place was 24⁄7. I also wish I knew this place in my university days but it’s too late for that. Also you should tip the people at the counter if you can. The people who work here are so polite!

If you ever have the craving for Homestyle cooking at a bargain price then Evelyn’s is the place to be. One of the ways that I judge breakfast is by how you cook your bacon. Well, Evelyn’s, you got it right. It’s not greasy and it’s surely not under– nor over-cooked. Since I work in the area, I’m often there for lunch and it’s always a busy place. They keep things moving and the owner always has a smile on his face with a great welcoming vibe. If I were to complain about anything, then I’d only have in my arsenal that Evelyn’s tends to run out of certain items on the menu which can be disappointing to some. To me, though, that just means I have to find another really great item on the menu — you’ll just have to trust me when I say that it’s not a difficult task. Keep up the great work Evelyn’s!

Cheapest all-day breakfast in Kits. It’s pretty good, but you get what you pay for. Friendly staff!
