Placed my order(potato soup and meat lasagna) at 8:20pm on a Tuesday and was told that pickup would take 15 minutes. I arrived at 8:38pm expecting to quickly pay and go(I live a 2 minute walk away). The place was rather empty, I waited around for a server. I heard patrons talking around the corner, so i rang the little bell they have at the front area. Someone came right away and I paid. The server just wondered off without saying a word and then finally at 8:50pm a different server came over and gave me my order. Not sure what would take so long as both items were obviously pre-made earlier in the day and just warmed up, but that shouldn’t take 30 minutes. Food was a 5, service was a 3 and unfortunately having a 30 minute wait time will make me only give 3 stars. It’s a shame though, seeing as I really enjoyed the food.

I this is a favorite of mine when I am in the area with friends. It is moderately priced and the food is good. They have a great verity of salads. It’s a good place to meet with friends.

I came here with my boyfriend and his relatives for dinner. I have to say walking in, this place gave a nice warm and inviting feeling. This restaurant is I would say a medium sized restaurant and the seating was comfortable. They didn’t cram as many seating as they can into the space. The servers were very friendly and attentive to our needs but at the same time was not over bearing. The food was delicious and the portions were big. The presentation of the food was good. I ordered the Tuna on their menu. It was good, but I think I liked the beef that my boyfriend had ordered more. I would definately recommend coming here especially for family dinners.

have been hearing about Cravings for years from friends and colleagues so when my daughter invited us for dinner it was very welcome. We went there for a meet the family event — my daughter and her guy, his parents, brother and sister and their SOs, and three kids. Service was outstanding considering some allergies and the size of our party. Merian really enjoyed her chicken and fig linguini with goat cheese and I really liked the short ribs — the gravy in particular was great. Loved the Caesar salad — perfectly dressed — and enjoyed a Spanish coffee for dessert. We will definitely return.

I find this restaurant out of no where. in Marpole. I am assuming they get most of the business from the one business tower near by. The serves there is pretty good. However, one thing is that the food is not that great. Food I would give it 2 stars but service 4 stars so overall 3. The sirloin steak was tasteless and quite tough. The salmon tasted like syrup on top. The braise short rib looked like it was cooked in a pressure cooker but not flavorful. Don’t think I will be going back.

I’ll start with our waitress Llewellyn she’s not really a friendly waitress or even a professional one, first I ask which one is good since I told her this is our first time eating here and would like a suggestions. Her reply ‘Everything is good here’ then she mention basically almost of the Main Entrée which kinda dumb since I can read. She didn’t introduce herself or even said Hello to my 8 year old daughter I got her name from the bill, while we were eating I notice she’s been greeting some people a mother’s day Hello! Did you notice I’m with my wife and my daughter? After she got our order I never see her anymore just to check up on our meal or how were doing and she never refill our water. Never coming here again! Now the Food. We order chicken strip and fries which for me they all taste the same since it’s the only food my daughter can eat due to allergy so I’ll rate it 3 out of 5. Chicken bbq wings 1 star. Crab cake 4 star and Salmon maple syrup I think was way to sweet so 2 star.

A quiet gem in the city. Food here is amazing. Service is excellent. I had the seared tuna. The tuna is moist and the underside is seared well. Highly recommended.

Hello, After reading reviews on Unilocal my son and I went for lunch. The place was empty as it was 3PM. We ordered our food. it came in a timely fashion. Presentation was great… food was even better than it tasted!!! My son had a burger with mushrooms, bacon and cheese. I had the BC Burger, grilled chicken half fries and half salad. Was soo yummy! I totally recommend this place! Also, lots of parking!

Had lunch here with a friend and had the grilled salmon sandwich with fries for lunch. He had the chicken stir fry and was satisfied with it, wasn’t great but okay. I was less impressed with my salmon, it was over cooked and the aoili was not very tasty with either with more bun than anything else.. In fact I’ve had better salmon burgers or salmon sandwiches from Cactus Club and that’s saying something. The décor is nice and roomy and fairly priced. Given the lack of a tasty meal, I wouldn’t go back.

Best Caesar salad I’ve had! Me and my boyfriend love this place, great food, great service and great wine. It’s got a great local atmosphere and feels like everyone would get to know you. Love the lasagna and love the changes to the menu for the dinner specials. If you live in the area you have to check this place out!

The gluten-free menu is extensive. There are lots of delicious options for those of us who are wheat intolerant. There were a couple of tasty beers as options as well which was nice. The atmosphere was low key and not pretentious even with a high quality menu.

I love this place. I was a regular for years but moved away. Now I am back in marpole and loving cravings even more than I used to. Great service, food and value. A great hidden gem

Best restaurant in Marpole. This place is wonderful, and it is local, so you will be supporting a real local business. I’ve never been disappointed at anything. They have lots of gluten free options, real options(not the classic gluten free burger that is not gluten free but instead meat wrapped in lettuce). They bake their own gluten free bread, so you can get anything on it, from hamburgers, to eggs Benedict. Brunch is delicious, way better than going to White Spot around the corner. The owners and waitresses and waiters are always nice, friendly and services is fast. The bar is very nice with 2 large TVs for any sports you want to see, yet, it doesn’t feel like a sports bar at all.

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant. The dinners are good deals $ 16 for 3 courses or $ 26 for 3 courses. Tonight, we ordered a la carte as my friend wanted Gluten Free. We ordered: Salmon Burger on Gluten Free Bread made on site! + Salad Turkey Club with Spicy Chicken Soup. Their famous Spicy Chicken Soup was perfectly seasoned with a nice heat and large chunks of chicken. We also ordered a side order of fries, which is large cut and crunchy! We split the cheesecake with raspberry coulis, it was very light and not too sweet at all. I was really impressed with their GF bread as it was very good. They also offer Soy Ice Cream along with regular ice cream. This restaurant is a nice neighborhood gem, the lounge side is darker and perfect for dates and the restaurant side is large enough for a family party.

tough Unilocalers here! With its own parking lot, and classy, almost fine-dining décor, already 3 stars, just needed to test their food to get that 4th one ;) Ordered their signature Cava burger, basically all the works, but it must be their house sauce that makes it incredible, as well as the stringy onion rings for that extra nice crunch. Patty also had the right bite to it too… even doing takeout was fine. came with yam fries which also were yummy, or that chipotle mayo even more amazing. easy repeat for me, though $ 17 may be an ouch but if you’re hungry and a burger lover, it’s worth it. also has a nice lounge on the right, can be done for a special event, easily holds up to 50 ppl. Not enough restos like this in marpole.

The service here is great. Everyone is super attentive and genuinely nice! I ordered the seafood linguine and it was delicious! The sauce was very light and the seafood was fresh. The portion is good as well. The environment is very calm and quiet which I love. It’s hard to find a place where you can have a calm dinner! The crème brûlée was the best! It’s slightly different from what you would usually have but it’s still very very good!

Came here for brunch today with my sister and brother-in-law and found the experience to be very good. Got the crabcake bennie, my brother-in-law got the salmon bennie, and my sister got the meat-lover’s omelette. The crabcake bennie was definitely my favorite, though I think the hollandaise sauce was a little on the tart side. Food came out pretty quick, service was awesome(and the waitresses, one of which was the owner were both really cute and very attentive). Prices were not super cheap, but not terrible by NY brunch standards. Décor is a little dated, but seems to be catering to an older crowd, so maybe that’s what they’re going for? Definitely a solid place to come if you’re in the area and craving some yummy brunch. My sister and brother-in-law have also come here for dinner a few times and thought the food was very yummy.

I have been coming here for probably 20 years… since it was a tiny jungle themed café. Glad to see they’ve had numerous décor changes since. This is not a restaurant I’d go to with a group of my friends as it’s lacking in the trendiness department, but it is a great spot to hit with your parents or an older crowd. Every time I’ve been here the food has been solid — I’ve never been disappointed. I really love their beetroot and goat cheese salad as well as their squash salad and spicy chicken soup. Last time I came in I tried their 3 course menu with the Mac N’ Cheese as my entrée, which was a pretty good value for $ 14. It was large enough to take leftovers for lunch the next day.
