I was so not impressed with this store. In fact, kind of disgusted. I came here on Boxing Day and was expecting some great sales. First, there wasn’t a great sale here. Sure the quality of their clothing is pretty good but they were marked at regular prices. I went to check out a sale rack and the sales girl looks at me at says, «we only have this in a size 10 and nothing else.» I didn’t even ask for this information. She was super unhelpful. In the first place, she could have asked if I needed help. I was disgusted because the customers here were super rude. One woman stared me down and shoved me because I was in her way. Come on, we are all here for a good deal. Is it really necessary to push and shove? It was just utter chaos here on Boxing Day. I don’t recommend coming here on such a popular shopping day. Some stores are better managed, not this one.

I am such a child of the 90’s. I remember when those Club Monaco sweatshirts with the round logo were the it fashion. I’m glad to say that those are gone now but this store continues to stay up to date with certain fashions. It is expensive, however, compared to the other stores in Metrotown that are«here today gone tomorrow» in terms of fashion, these clothes are fashionably sustainable.

Just a hop, skip and a jump from its flagship location, this Club Monaco still stands out. While considerably smaller than its Robson storefront, the style and service are still present in mounds. The staff here is the first to admit that they don’t carry as many styles as the other one, but what is here is still stylish, fun and fresh. The cuts here are much more tailored than some of the raggedy Ann-type concoctions available at other stores but it’s never conservative. Patterns and colours are always bright and lively… it’s the perfect spot to jazz up a boring work outfit or hunt for that perfect little cocktail number. The staff here is very friendly. While always eager to help and suggest the odd piece to help liven up your wardrobe, they never force the sale. Though a bit pricier than it used to be, Club Monaco certainly has the goods to back it up.
