Cloverdale Paint

These guys do it right. They know their product, know enough about your business/​project to offer you straight up advice without being patronizing and they ALWAYS acknowledge you when you walk in and make sure you know that you’ll get some attention asap. Its rare to find a chain of stores like this in a commodity business but as far as I can tell, the staff in all of the stores are equally good/​attentive… and they’re Canadian owned! I always get what I need at a fair price too.

And with the advice from the great staff at Cloverdale Paint, the graffiti is gone. (okay, it’s covered)
Three different paints and colours were sprayed onto our bare cement retaining wall. Counter guy explained about primer — and he tinted the primer so it blends with the bare cement tone. (we had done the power wash!) Set me up with the correct fluffy roller sleeve, and paint tray liner.
I’ve just finished covering the graffiti and it looks fabulous. Staff here really know their product. I’ve purchased paint here in the past, but this time I needed specialty stuff, and they provided top product and advice.
Now we will paint colourful flowers on the cement. Take that, taggers!

It’s really nice to walk into a store and talk to someone who actually knows about the products. The guys and gals at Cloverdale Paint know their stuff when it comes to all things paint related. I was going to be moving into a condo where the previous owner was a smoker. They hooked me up with the right sealer/​primer and then were able to help me with deciding on the right combinations of colours — for example I wanted to paint an eggplant accent wall but the tan I wanted would have looked pink next to the purple wall. I wouldn’t have picked up on that at all but the fellow who helped me out suggested I go with a different shade (which really looked the same to me) so that it would be warm but not pink.
They were quick, they made sure I had everything I needed and then helped me load the car with all my stuff. They are a Canadian company that sells Canadian products — it’s nice to support local business when you can.
