Did it! Today was another one of those kill yourself eat like a pig days. Stop 1: Sinfully the Best for chocolates Stop 2: D Original Sausage House for … what do YOU think? Stop 3: Belles Bake Shop for cupcakes Stop 4: Here. Halal fried chicken. It was pretty good. Juicy, lightly breaded, crispy, seasoned nicely. This is essentially a fast food set up with only two tables in the store. I ate in. This is pretty decent chicken for what it is. Nice change from the KFC’s and Church’s. I’ve mentioned this before. I have been spoiled by Joe Forte’s fried chicken. I’m still looking for the place that will knock it off the top. I hear Chewies may give it some competition. I never did get to try the ones at Refuel, since it is now closed. Grrrrr…

* Halal fried chicken — done right * Catty corner from the KFC at the corner of Knight and 49th this little hole in the wall with 2 tables serves up halal fried chicken, and lives up to the KFC marketing promises which never seem to come true of, «They do chicken right.» They freshly prepared the chicken and fries after ordering the combo. The chicken was lightly breaded with a nicely seasoned breading, perfectly crispy, with incredibly juicy well marinated meat inside. This was very good fried chicken. The fries were run of the mill, but prepared nice and fresh. Photos: and Simple, straightforward, and solid preparation of halal fried chicken — Chicken World does chicken right!
