This place deserves 0 stars. I believe in not being rude to the people handling my food, so when they gave my order to a pushier customer who ordered after me, even after I spoke up; lied about the reason why; and then tried to make me wait for food that was ready — I asked for a refund. They should be told off for this level of incompetence and deceit, but I don’t want to eat a spit ball.

I visited there again. The pluses were the food was ready fast and the attendant was prompt. The turnoffs were they rounded up their totals to the nearest nickel regardless of how you paid. It’s not like that at other BK’s. What’s the deal?

This is one of the worst fast food locations I have ever visited. The place is absolutely disgusting. The front door which is glass is covered in greasy hand prints so much so that I didn’t even want to push it open with my sleeve as I was leaving. Almost every surface in the restaurant is also dirty and in need of a good cleaning. This includes the counter where you order your food, the pop machine/ketchup dispenser area, all of the tables and even the chairs. The floors were dirty too. I could tell they hadn’t been mopped in a while. When I was there today there were at least three women behind the counter not doing much of anything except talking to each other. They should have been cleaning things up and keeping the place presentable and sanitized. Absolutely every table needed to be wiped. And all of the counters need to be wiped too. I can’t believe they think it’s ok to leave things like this. I’m still annoyed by it all. The restaurant also has a lack of tables, a TV that wasn’t on, no music, and wires hanging from behind the TV and from above the dirty front door. It’s odd because this place didn’t open that long ago(months only) and it already looks years old. There is no way this place is going to survive being so dirty. Please someone go there and take pictures and post them. Staff I dealt with were nice enough but they could be friendlier. Only a few customers inside. Depressing.

Probably the worst Burger King I’ve been to. The staff isn’t friendly and they made mistakes on orders both times I went. Last Wednesday the place was a mess with ketchup and trays everywhere. Food was as expected, but you’re likely better off to just not.

Went there for a Sundae at 8:58 p. m, was told by the staff the even though teh store closes at 11 p.m., they stop serving ice cream at 9 p.m. AREYOUSERIOUS? this is pathetic. Also did not explain why he couldn’t serve me since it bas still before 9 pm. His response: I already washed the machine.

Came here tonight for a quick bite. Since it was Whopper Wednesday, ordered a Whopper + a large tea. Pleasantly surprised by the Whopper. Fresh lettuce, tomato, onion with a good size patty on a good size bun. The large tea was only $ 1.29 This was my 1st time eating in a Burger King. Now I wish there were more locations. They also had milkshakes for $ 1.99 + coffee anytime for $ 1.00 They have 1 tv showing sports + 1 tv showing American news.

Had I submitted a review for this Burger King location when it opened in September 2014, I would have been forced to give it only two stars. I love BK, and I wanted to love this newest addition to the franchise too, but my early visits left me very disappointed. Service was glacially slow, despite the restaurant being empty(and the place being empty also meant stale fries and onion rings). The simplest orders or tasks — like counting money — seemed confusing to the new employees. Kitchen equipment was missing, and the brand new flat screen TVs on the wall were all blank. But now, less than a month later, service speeds have increased(even as business has picked up considerably). Those employees are now much more confident, proficient, and welcoming. The fully functional kitchen is producing fresh food because it’s constantly being cooked. The TVs broadcast various fare with the volume on(on my last visit, it was sports). The interior is a mix of the traditional fast food and the modern urban. A monocolour cityscape mural covers half of one wall, oddly reminiscent of old Subway restaurants. You have your pick of standard fast food bench-chair-and-table seating, or you can try out one of their fancy(for BK) faux-leather seats.(I’ve never seen anyone in them for some reason, and I visit here multiple times a week) At the back of the restaurant(which can be seen from the street entrance, like its sister location on Granville Street) is a small counter covered in brick on both sides. On busy days, the small counter space is vied for by one group of customers waiting for their orders, and another group of customers trying to figure out where to place an order. The«cattle corral» Burger Kings have set up in advance of the counter is completely ignored by all, as is tradition. For those of you who take transit, this Burger King’s location is absolutely awesome: It’s less than two blocks away from the south entrance to the Canada Line Waterfront SkyTrain station. It’s also a swallow’s flight away from the Expo Line Granville Street SkyTrain entrance. If that wasn’t enough, it’s on Pender between Granville and Richards, which is a transfer area for several buses.(Westbound 4, 6, 7, 10, 19, or 22 buses can transfer between Eastbound 19, 22, or 209 buses within a 2 block radius, almost always at the same stops.) [Note that there is some confusion as to the exact address of this Burger King. The sales receipts, and the craigslist ad asking for night time«food counter attendants» for this restaurant both state 614 W Pender. The Vancouver Coastal Health restaurant license records, as well as the actual address in the window state 612 W Pender. I’m sure they’ll all sort it out.] Whether it’s 612 or 614 Pender, though, I’m just glad I can get cheap food around Waterfront Station now! ;] _*EDIT since first review* _As of my last visit(Oct 1), they also have $ 1 coffee: all sizes. This is almost certainly only for a limited time, and presumably only to attract customers. Specific to this location. I’ve also answered some additional information since my initial review… for example, they«have TV» but of course, they«do not cater» and their price range is «$.» I apologize for the poor quality of this review; it’s only the second review I’ve ever submitted on Unilocal
