Brush Dental

Great office to go to if you are looking for a dental office in south van.

It had been over 3 years since I last went to the dentist; but I felt very comfortable at Brush Dental. The staff at the front desk are great. They go over your insurance plan so you know exactly what you will have to pay for/​what is covered before you go into your appointment.
I had Dr. Wong. They booked one hour with me just for my checkup/​x-​rays and I go back next week for my cleaning. Some people might find it a pain to book 2 separate appointments, but I found it to be nice. It means my first appointment wasn’t rushed and Dr. Wong really spent a lot of time going over my teeth and answered all my questions without running out to another appointment.
Also… no cavities! Yeahhhh.

Mmm, I love the dentist. I always come out with a free toothbrush & toothpaste & floss. Yay healthy teeth!
The front desk person (Betty) is super nice, always remembering details about me, like what I’m doing in school or asking about my boyfriend & family. I have no idea how she remembers these things. Maybe she reviews my file before I get there for an appointment, but I think she just cares about the patients.
Anyhoo, this particular location is newer and high tech, with my records displayed on a computer screen complete with profile photo and everything! There is a flat screen TV above the dentist chair for watching daytime TV such as Rachael Ray’s show, whatever it’s called, or Ellen, while getting your teeth scraped & drilled. Yay scraping! Yay pain!
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t really like getting my teeth cleaned at all, or hearing the sounds of drills, but as far as dentists go, these ones are the best. Believe me, I’ve seen my fair share of dentists. I brush and brush, but I think I’m prone to getting cavities or something (acidic saliva?), so I’m at the dentist a lot. I’ve had my cleanings here, wisdom tooth pulled, cavities filled, etc. The dentists, Victoria & Mike are always gentle, and the hygienists are always friendly! If you’re looking for a dentist who minimizes your discomfort, go here!
Also, this office also offers fancy cosmetic dentistry and botox, for some reason…
Minus one star because no matter how great the other stuff is, it’s still a dentist’s office. Haha!
