After a long urban walk, I was hungry for a bite. Heading out from Jericho Beach, I knew that Broadway and Alma was close by. Resigned to possibly heading home before getting anything to eat, I walked toward the B-Line bus stop, and this is where I noticed Bön Viviant Bistro. Mod and crush orange coloured in décor, there are 4 small round tables with booth seating set up along both sides of the establishment. The thin crust pizza offerings were few but varied enough to interest my palate. The pizzas are sold by the slice for $ 2.00 or a combo of 2 slices with a can of pop for $ 4.45. I chose«Fungi Feast»(mozza and mushrooms), and my walking companion chose«BBQ Chicken»(bbq chicken and spinach) and the bill totaled $ 4.48 including tax. Our slices were heated in the oven for a couple of minutes, which I believe added extra zing to the toppings and texture to the crust. If you’re in the area looking for a quick bite before you literally jump onto the B-Line, Bön Viviant is worth a visit.
