I had tea with my Mom the service was poor and not very welcoming. After we had our tea I used the restroom. The toilet wouldn’t flush(I attempted to flush it three times) I told one of the staff members. The staff member told me that it would flush eventually if I kept trying. This location needs some maintenance work done. I was not impressed I will not return.

My wife is 6mo pregnant. She accidentally spilled her drink at this Broadway and Cambie location, but received ZERO help or compassion from your employees. They treated her like an inconvenience. Fortunately, other ever so-loving Vancouverites helped clean up and saved her from this embarrassing moment. What is with your customer service?

This one is close to the station. Because it is close to the station good luck getting a seat and when you do, be prepared to comp out a bit ’cause if you loose your spot someone will swoop in and take it in a heart beat without apology. Decent stock of pastries and my drink was made to order without an issue.

My favourite Blenz in the city. Spacious high ceilings, well placed electrical outlets, knowledgeable baristas. All of the –chillos are delish! Food offerings could use some work. Wifi is touchy but I just use London Drugs’ wifi instead!

I love, love, LOVE Blenz. I love it for how they use real chocolate(instead of syrup) in the mocha. It’s just this location specifically that I have had a really bad experience in. I’m a student, so I do a lot of studying at cafes because I can keep refilling on my favourite drinks. But when I sat down to this Blenz, just over an hour, the woman(I think she’s the franchisee) told me that if I don’t purchase another drink soon, I’d have to leave. I completely understand – I wouldn’t squat there the entire day without purchasing more drinks to make up for the fact that I’m taking up a spot, but it was only an hour and I would’ve purchased another one(I was only halfway through my medium sized mocha!). It was an off-peak hour/day too! When I finished my mocha and was about to get a strawberry tea latte(it’s really good), she stopped by to warn me, again, to leave soon if I wasn’t going to buy anything! I understand how it’s bad to take up space without purchasing but it was quite rude of her – it wasn’t even a friendly reminder; it was a warning with a glare. I felt so unwelcome! TL;DR: Blenz is great for coffee, but students beware at this location!

As with many coffee shops, Blenz is moving ever so slightly upscale. Parking is available along Cambie, or other side streets. The inside has nice high ceilings, which gives the place a nice open atmosphere. One curious thing about this location(and I’m not sure if it applies to other Blenz locations around town) is that there are some syrup bottles at the toppings station. This is really nice as there may be times when you just want a bit more sugar. Other than that, you have your mix of students, people chilling on the couches, and other random customers.

I associate this Blenz with illness, sorry about that! It’s just that there is a walk in clinic located above, and I always pop in here after a long wait to get some much needed medicine! I’m always able to find a seat(amidst the laptop dwellers), and it produces the same nice quality lattes I’ve come to expect from Blenz. It’s of course in a handy location near the buses and Skytrain, and makes for a nice break when shopping in the area. I’ll try visiting here some time when not ill!

noticed i have been going on a starbucks overkill in the past few days… so thought i’d try out my neighbourhood blenz this morning! had only 5 mins to run in and out before heading back on route to my naturpath’s office. nice display of different sandwiches, baked goodies, wraps, and even desserts… hmmmm… ordered the florentine wrap(eggs, spinach, peppers, potatoes.) to eat on the go and a carrot banana loaf for snacking on later. i chowed on the wrap cold. but it tasted fresh and extremely filling. probably one of the better breakfast wraps ive had at a coffee shop! noticed it is said to provide 21 g of protein… pretty impressive! the loaf was pure indulgance… the frosting was delicious and sweet, loved the banana bread and caffot muffin combo twist… mmmmm… soft doughy loaf, sure tasted like it was made that same day too!
