Amazing service today from Hemma in mobile and her supervisors. I’ve spent two days at two different best buys trying to set up 3 different Samsung Tab S2 with Telus and all the IMEIs were blocked(only Open Box had been available). Not only did they all go above and beyond trying to get everything working for me but provided me with a gift card, deep discount on a case, and are providing me with the same open box discount on a new one that they are ordering in for me from Even with such an annoying situation I’m leaving with a smile because of their great attitudes and customer service. I’ll be shopping here again and will be going out of my way to go to this particular one!

I rarely go to Best Buy due to the poor customer service I have received in the past. Attended today to buy audio accessories that I could not find anywhere else near my office. I walked the store twice without any assistance offered. When I approached two employees chatting away, they were condescending in their responses to my query regarding the item I could not locate. As I was leaving to pay for my item, I could hear them laughing and discussing my request with another co-worker. Rude and smug.

Went to buy an RF wireless headphone system for a TV. Was told«no returns on open packages» for hygenic reasons. Huh? OK, whatever, do you have a sample so I can try? I was told«nope, no samples. You cannot try it out first» I later found out that many wireless RF headphones are of questionable quality, and often to do not work properly. Hence, it is OBVIOUS that Best Buy is trying to get people to unwittingly buy crap, and then not allow the customer to return them. London Drugs said«take them home, try them out, if you don’t like them, bring them back for a full refund» Best Buy has a real problem, these days, with customer service. It has become too damn big

If this is anything related to the Future Shop, I won’t go here. Terrible service on warranty Macbook. The purpose was to tell me nothing was wrong so they could do nothing. Rude, and wouldn’t listen. *Geek Squad* = ripoff garbage.

After-purchase-customer-service at big box stores that pay commission to their staff is usually sub par because frankly once they make the sale, there is little incentive to help you out after. That being said, I always give credit where credit is due and want to give kudos to the customer service I received when my Beats headphone stopped functioning 3 months into use. I knew it was a long shot to get the thing replaced on site because usually they would tell you to go by the manufacturers warranty once past the return period. However, after reading the Beats so-called warranty coverage(or lack of), I wasn’t prepared to go through a 3 month battle with Beats(Apple) just to have working headphones. So, there I go into Futureshop and surely their first response was that they can’t do anything. After explaining how frustrating it would be to try to get my headphones fixed with Beats, customer service agreed to replace my headphones on site. Woop dee doo right? I know this happens all the time for people but like I said earlier, I give credit where credit is due and I know Futureshop(and many stores alike) get shafted on Unilocal because mostly people with bad experiences provide feedback. So there you go, kudos Futureshop!

I went here yesterday to buy two iPad Air 2’s. A gentleman approached me right away as I was looking at the iPads. He stuck by my side the entire time and helped me pick out screen-savers and iPad cases. The total came to around $ 1800. I asked him if they could put on the screen savers for us and he said that it would cost more which made no sense since I spent almost $ 2000 there. Than I said that is fine. He went and asked a manager if they could put it on the iPads and the manager said it would take at least 3 days. Which is unacceptable. They should help out their customers and put on our screen savers for free right there and than. Than the gentleman told me to go to apple and they should do it. Unacceptable! I got home and put on our cases on our iPads. Than we noticed that the cases he had given me were for the iPad Air not the iPad Air 2. The cases covered our camera.

Best Buy, my personal opinion, don’t buy anything online !!! We ordered a TV and Laptop online, they promptly processed our credit card for 2000.00, promised delivery by Thursday July 16, never delivered then when called had to sit on hold and when finally talking to someone they confirmed the items were still not shipped and didn’t know when they would be shipped. We asked to cancel the transaction, they said it could not be cancelled. Only recourse is to file a complaint with Consumer Protection BC and 2000.00 is in limbo, no product and no date and just an oh well that’s how it is attitude. Next stop, CBC Go Public for us .and BC Consumer Protection to file a complaint. UPDATE The TV& LapTop arrived today by Purolator(almost a week past the promised delivery date) and the TV box was received in damaged condition(open). Summary, the worst service I have experienced, WIll never buy anything ever again from Best Buy.
