The park itself is nicely landscaped, but the endless supply of used needles, used condoms and broken glass (even in the dog park and kids playground) turn it into a wasteland. Also, someone was murdered there last night. Stay away.

The effects of its proximity to the downtown eastside are evident through the public consumption of alcohol and intravenous drug use taking place throughout the park. Aside from this though, the park itself is very scenic! It’s got a very calming water feature, wide open green spaces, and many amenities such as a playground, a soccer field, and a basketball court to enjoy.

Cherry Blossoms, a basket ball court, tennis, turf and a winding river in the middle of the city. Relaxing by the water between games of tennis/​football/​basketball/​baseball on a lazy hot summer afternoon.
