As promised, my first review was based solely on the service perspective as it was bought as a gift. I now have feedback to share! And I would trust my friend’s taste when it comes to food as he has pretty high standards and a knack for good food! The Soup: Very hearty. The noodles in it were a little on the mushy side(but only because it had been sitting in the fridge for about 3 days prior to consumption). The vegetables were filling. Overall, good. The Rosemary-Garlic Breadsticks: Reminiscent Pretz sticks that you can get at Asian grocers. Crunchy. The Cupcake in a Jar: The most disappointing part of the package. The icing and chocolate cake were quite bland, and the only thing that really stood out were the marshmallows. All in all, the entire thing just tasted like a giant marshmallow. The Chocolate-Chip Cookies: Possibly the best part of the package. There were approximately 6 little half-golf ball-sized cookies with milk chocolate chunks the size of pencil top erasers. They were rich, sweet, and held together by the semi-baked cookie dough. The texture was neither crunchy or doughy-soft but altogether solid enough to satisfy a consistently hungry tummy.
