I don’t know if it’s the time of day that I tend to come here, but it’s always a bit messy here for me. This visit in particular, the cash area and ladies clothing was disheveled. Organisation-wise, I like their floor changes as they seem to make more sense to me. Furniture department seems more organised and tidy! I found some good stuff — not«brands» per se, but more unique and vintage-y things. Staff member that I interacted with was nice and helpful. Manager seems like a very sweet man. One con is the accessibility in/out of the plaza and the weird parking lot(s). If you leave near the VV entrance, it is a one-way, going East. So depending on what location you’re coming from, this particular location could be a bit tricky to get into!

This is my friendly, neighbourhood«VV Boutique». Great staff, clean, free parking, donation centre, what else could you ask for? I LOVEIT! The one star lacking will apply to EVERY Value Village I experience WITHOUT a «Vintage» aisle(See: )! Not that this location doesn’t have crazy awesome vintage finds, it just means you have to look harder to find the treasures. I seem to always find dresses from H&M, Forever 21, Zara, etc. as well as big basketball jerseys for D here. The HUGE books section has a great turnover, and our library has certainly grown since coming here regularly to check out the bookshelves. So many in new/almost new condition, and I have found some FAB cookbooks here too. Of course, around Halloween this is DEFINITELY my first stop for costume shopping! Other fave finds here: — vintage glass punch bowl set — 18 glasses with the little hooks to go over the edge of the bowl, plus a funky ladle — retro white linen suit for D — preemie baby clothes for my dog(I know, I know…) — board games: LIFE, unopened Trivial Pursuit SNLDVD edition, Twister, unopened Murder Mystery game(still have to plan this party…)! — art — the Degas print in our bathroom AND the huge mirror in our foyer were both discovered here! SCORE!

This Value Village is big, spacious and clean – even by Value Village standards, which are a bit higher than some of the other big vintage/consignment stores. It’s part of the new-ish Black Creek Super Value Centre, which is flanked by condos and has some weird parking layouts. As for their stock, it’s the same hit-and-miss selection as their other locations. I was last here looking to accessorize a Halloween costume, but couldn’t find what I was looking for in my size. On the other hand, I was surprised by the amount of quality titles in their book section. A practically mint-condition Brief History of Time was there, just waiting for a loving new home.
