Went here on my lunch break today, after realizing this was the place all my coworkers had been ordering lunch from.
The price was decent. $ 4.99 for a BLT, +$ 2.99 for fries.
Walked in, no acknowledgement from the staff. Approached the bar and asked if I just sit anywhere to order food. I was advised I could sit anywhere in the back. Service was very quick, and food was decent. It was nothing to write home about, but also not some place I would avoid like the plague.
The sour moment came when I was trying to pay. The debit machine wasn’t cooperating with me, and the man who was «helping» me started to get very impatient and at one point tried entering my account (chq or sav), and if I hadn’t said something I’m sure he would have tried entering my pin too. Hardly a be all and end all, however I felt it was very tasteless to be so impatient when finishing a sale.
MIGHT go back.
