Went to Time last night with a group of friends, we got a booth. Even as we got there right in the beginning of the night(before midnight). The floor was sticky in the center of the dance floor, making it impossible to actually dance comfortably. Our bottle service girl, only brought over our drinks and stuff. Never smiled, never seemed friendly or anything. The club itself was filthy and it was pretty clear the bar-backs werent doing their job to keep the club looking alright throughout the night(and again, youd think they could have had the floor mopped. Disgusting). Multiple times throughout the night the specific booth we got was commandeered by Fire dancers, calling them dancers might be slightly inaccurate but its essentially 2 girls that have mini torches on sticks and do movements with them. It was interesting at first, but after the 2nd(and up to the 4th time) seeing the 2 same girls do the exact same things got very boring and it also distracted people from actually dancing. That all being said, the music was also mostly mediocre, didn’t play many hits(some good choices here and there) and it was insanely loud at times(much louder than other clubs ive been too). We did get a hookah though, that was kinda cool I guess. Otherwise it was very poor experience.

I went here for a special Sunday event with some of the Toronto Raptors. More players showed up than advertised. Even before they showed, the crowd was treated to DJ Charlie B spinning modern hip hop with crisp mixing between songs and well thought-out song choices. There is an enclosed patio that is overlooked by the Sheraton hotel. It offers a nice urban nightscape and propane heating torches that keep it near room temperature. Drinks seemed to me to cost the same as most other places in the area. Bottle service is very popular here, it seems you are not allowed to sit on the couches unless you buy bottle service. While I may have gone on an epic Sunday night, it was still epic. This could be a one-off, or a sign of things to come if the club continues building its brand. Helpful hint: even though they list a phone number for guestlist, don’t call, nobody answers. Use their website to log a guestlist request.

So again, I know I will take heat for this, but: Even in a club environment, I don’t think anyone working for the establishment should be hitting on patrons. It just comes off really gross and uncomfortable. In full disclosure — I am also kinda gross because I DID accept drinks from the club promoter. This was Industry night(Sundays). The environment– Dark. Mostly booths. Long bar. Sleek and modern and clean. Nice smoking patio with a great view, tonnes of benches and heating in the winters. Crowd: Differs depending on the night. Fridays and Saturdays people will actually dance. But much later on than other clubs. 1−2am is when dancing will start. Sundays is obvs people just standing around pretending to be cool. All weekend: people in their late twenties to mid thirties. More men than women. Always dress to impress — heels, make up and a dress that could pass for designer. Men should wear clean dark shoes, button down shirt, cologne and some hair product. Pouty face is in order. I’m too student for this place. And I actually like to dance and let loose. So I skip unless I’m forced to go.

My friends and I booked advance tickets for this club on a Saturday night because we were under the impression that it was a good club. Unfortunately for us that was a wrong assumption. Even though we paid in advance and notified the bouncers or our pre paid tickets we were still told to wait in an hour long line up. when we finally made it to the front of the line, it turned out that if you had pre paid tickets, you were free to go in, uninformed or what. The bouncers were unorganized and unprofessional. The club itself is extremely small, this whole two floors ideas they are talking about is referring to the ground floor where you buy your tickets, coat check and washrooms are, not dancing or socializing. The second floor, the supposed«dance» floor, is 50% covered by VIP lounge while the other part has random post and arches. The person who worked in the washroom was very rude and had some ignorant and bigot comments she felt she needed to share. I understand that she might have been stressed or she may not enjoy her job, but that is no excuse for her racial and judgmental comments. The bar tenders do not know how to make drinks and are unable to identify liquors. As well the music was decent but most songs were old and not suited for the environment the club was trying to portray. The only good thing this club has going for it is a heated patio. Even then it is ruined because the bartender had no clue what she was doing. I do not recommend this club at all. This is by far one of the worst clubs in Toronto. It is a waste of time and money. If you are looking for a good, fun night out, you will not find it here.

I ended up here for a birthday party. I had never heard of it before, but it’s where BLVD Room used to be. I arrived at 10:50 on a Saturday night and there was no one in line. Upon arrival the hostess seemed very confused about the guestlist I was on. After waiting about 25 minutes I finally got in after everything was sorted out. I wasn’t surprised to find the club virtually empty by the time I finally made it inside. The space is pretty small. There is an elevated area around the DJ and the couches are all reserved for bottle service. There is one bar by the entrance. There is another bar in the patio and there are some booths available for seating. The cocktails are $ 6.50 each. The bartender was not very knowledgeable though. I asked for a Bombay and tonic and she did not know what it was. Interestingly, Bombay was the only kind of gin they had there. I also asked what types of scotch they had, and she just pointed at the wall behind her and said, «This is all we have.» She didn’t know which bottle was scotch; based on what I saw they only had Johnny Walker Red. The music was average and the crowd was on the young side. It was busier(but not crowded) by 12:30 am. The place was empty again by 1:30 am. I was under the impression that there was a dress code, but I saw a few people wearing running shoes and t-shirts. The staff seemed very friendly though. There was a girl who was visibly sick from having too much to drink and one of the staff approached her and offered her a bottle of water. I usually see staff kicking people out when they are sick. If you are looking to book a venue and have run out of options, this place will suffice. The bottles are cheap and the place is not crowded, making it ideal to just hang out with your group. If you’re looking for a place with good music and a diverse crowd, there are better options in the city.

After my first visit here last Friday, all I can say about this place is that it’s just ok. It’s relatively new(occupies the space that used to be the ever-missed Blvd room), so it’s decorated nicely and was nice and clean. It was normal-club type pricey but luckily me and my friends planned ahead, got on guestlist and went early to get in for free(note: anyone can get in free before 11 on Fridays, not just the ladies, which is nice). Otherwise I’m assuming it may have been anywhere from $ 10-$ 20 for cover. The music was sort of disappointing: it was a lot of outdated top 40, mixed with R&B, neither of which I am a fan of. Plus, there were no drink specials and were also quite pricey, $ 6 for bar rail and $ 7 upwards for import/premiums, so make sure you either pack your wallet, balance your credit card or fill the tank before you arrive! To sum up, if money is not a factor for you, and all you’re looking for is a fun night out with friends, I would definitely recommend this place.
