This was my second tattoo and as a walk-​in they were so accommodating right off the bat. Destiny took care of me and took her time making sure my design was exactly what I wanted, even checking in throughout the process to make sure I was happy. Everyone there was great and super welcoming! And just a note, in such a male dominated industry it was awesome to be able to get my piece done by such a talented kick as WOMAN. Much love!

This was my first tattoo and I had a great experience. Jason made me feel very comfortable about the process and did a perfect job. I will definitely get another tattoo done by him.

Did a ton of research for a reputable, safe place. They explain everything (I’m a first timer and concerned about safety) and provide lots of information and written before and after care advice.
It’s in Yorkville so it’s also a really nice place, comfortable to get this work done.
Destiny did my work and did a great job.
Highly recommend to first timers — they will make you comfortable. Way more affordable than I thought too.

First of all, the good: a very clean and nice place. Friendly staff. Loved the atmosphere and that alone made me want to talk about getting my older tattoo enhanced, that’s until I emailed with what seems like issues with my tattoo.
The bad: now I’m not saying it’s a bad place by any stretch of the word. I’m sure a lot of people had good experiences and love their tattoos, including my wife. But when I email you showing you how my tattoo looks like a blob compared to my wife’s you reply me with a lecture on how skin is not paper and tattoos tend to fade with time. Really? I didn’t know my tattoo would fade within a month or heal with what looks like pockets of ink, if you will.
Your email implied that I’ve no idea what tattoos are or how they heal or that I’m blind. So for that reason I would never step foot in your business and would rather pay someone else to fix my tattoo.

I was going to wait until my half sleeve was done to review but people need to know now! This place is awesome!
Super trendy, clean, and everyone is friendly.

Yes — it’s a bit more expensive compared to other tattoo shops — but you get what you pay for. They are awesome and talented.
You will not be disappointed! I can’t wait to go back for the rest of it :)

The Village Ink has become my go to spot for any tattoos I may want to have. Matty was an amazing artist. Full of energy and drive, he helped me out getting my first tattoo! The whole studio is a great atmosphere. All the staff is great, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Highly recommend this tattoo parlor!

Great place! Was super nervous for my first tattoo and Tyler made me feel very calm. They found exactly what I was looking for, put it a stencil on and got to work. I got the tattoo in a very painful spot, but Sarah was so quick that it was over in no time. Come here if you’re a first timer or not! They are great!

I decided to get my first tattoo here, and everyone was really friendly! I also had to go back for a consultation post-​ink and the staff were able to give me a very clear picture of the overall healing process, which was nice and reassuring.
It’s pretty obvious that everyone working here is super knowledgeable about their craft, and if I’m ever in the market for another tattoo, I would totally go back.

Excellent tattoo shop. Only drawback is that it’s pricey (although what do you expect in Yorkville?)
Yesterday I was calling all the regular shops in the city to see if I could get a walk in appointment. I wanted some Rolling Stones lyrics in big bold font and I didnt feel like waiting to get it or jumping through any hoops with scheduling. Every place I called was booked up and werent willing to work with me. When I called Village on a whim the dude said he would get me in ASAP. When I showed up the guy at the front desk was super helpful and really good vibes. Really liked my idea and helped me flesh it out. My artist Sara did excellent work and didnt mind me squirming. The tattoo, once done, came out great. I just got it yesterday so it still needs time to heal, but it looks better than any tatt Ive gotten before. The shop itself was very clean and comfortable
All told, the price was a bit high like I said, but its worth it to get the tattoo when and how I wanted… and especially because it came out looking great

This is a great new tattoo shop. Excellent, clean, well located space– who would imagine getting inked in Yorkville? Appointments are EASY to make, no jumping through hoops, they take credit cards, the chairs are amazing, and Joseph is just friendly as all get out. This place deserves to thrive.

Super clean and the staff is extremely professional and friendly! Glen did my tattoos and he was great, actually he was amazing.

Hands down best shop in the city. I was blown away at how clean and contemporary the space is. The quality of their art is second to none. Will definitely be going back.

I have many tattoos. I know the importance of a clean environment and an excellent staff. The piece is so well managed that I am shocked by the artistic talent located here in Toronto, truly the best tattoo shop in Toronto, and probably Canada.
We finally have a world class tattoo shop right here in Toronto!
Ps. I promise they will have a wait list soon, so get in sooner than later.

Went in this place for my second session with Glen. While the shop wasn’t open just yet (cleaners still cleaning the back, chairs still in plastic) one could just feel the atmosphere that this place will have. Big, bright, high ceilings and an array of very talented people.
Definitely worth the visit.
