The only reason I go to this store is because of convenience, and every time I walk through the doors I cringe. Unlike the other review, Mark P., I have the opposite issue with this place. NOONEWANTSTOHELPYOU! The issue with this store has only begun to happen in the last two years or so. Before that the main knock against the Source was that they couldn’t compete with the big box stores’ selection. In my worst experience at the store, and this is one of several, I walked in to ask about an alarm clock and the store was pretty busy. I waited patiently for an employee to become available, and once one was free I asked my question. I had to repeat the question three times because the employee had to ensure all his text messages had been replied to as he was just busy with another customer. We finally walked over to the area with the alarm clocks, when another customer stepped in and a question. Assuming the employee would reply with«just one moment, I am helping another customer» or «I will be with you in a minute», I was horrified, scratch that, pissed off, when the employee then proceeded to walk away from me and help the new customer. I walked over and said«excuse me» but was cut off by the employee who let me know he would«be with me in a sec, bro». I walked out, thanks for the help«bro». This location is the worst. Only go here if you know exactly what you need.

I appreciate when an attentive worker comes to help out but when 4 different employees come to ask how they can help within literally a 2 minute span then don’t be surprised when my girlfriend tells you to leave us alone. The location looks nice but man, someone tell the staff to lay off, or at least pay attention to how many other staffers have already asked if someone needs help.

Darryl is hella good looking — and he knows it. Ladies, watch out. He will use that sexy smile to sell you products. All in all, Darryl was pretty knowledgeable — unlike his coworker who first attempted to help me find a FM/AM transmitter for my iPhone 5. I picked up something that was exorbitantly priced at $ 113. On top of that, Darryl had the nerve to ask me which internet provider I was with. Well, I got out of there fast. I know myself too well — my credit card responds to sexy smiles :(

I was having a party on my rooftop patio for my birthday last week and I needed speakers for my ipod so that we would have music. I went into this location of The Source since it’s on my way home from work and I figured that they’d have something that would do the trick. The girl that was assisting me recommended that I purchase a certain kind of ipod speakers(can’t recall the brand) claiming that they were the loudest. Sold! I bought the speakers and went on my merry way thinking that that was a relatively pain-free experience. The day of the party arrived and I went to set the speakers up. I cranked up the volume to maximum and was surprised to find that there was nothing maximum about it! Once everyone arrived you couldn’t even tell that there was music playing at all as it was completely drowned out by people’s conversations. I was pretty irate that the girl had told me that this speaker would be ideal for my needs. The only reason I am giving The Source 2 stars instead of 1 is because they gave me my money back without any hassle at all. I told them the speakers sucked, they opened the box to check that everything was there and then they forked my money over. I will not, however, be going back there.
