I was really impressed with this nail salon (especially after reading the other two reviews.) The salon was clean, and every instrument the nail tech used had just been cleaned. The other staff who weren’t with a customer were busying themselves with cleaning. Everyone was polite and friendly. Since I had made an appointment ahead of time, they greeted me by name when I walked in.
The décor was light and trendy. The selection of polishes was great. The TV was set to CP24, which another reviewer had disliked, but given how friendly and accommodating the staff were I’m CERTAIN you could ask for the channel to changed. Personally I liked watching the news.
A major plus for health conscious consumers: they have fans to air dry your nails. This was nice because I notice a lot of places not only prefer the Uv lights, but have no alternative.
I’ll definitely come back here and, if every time is as good as this was, I can see myself becoming a regular.

I went here based on a recommendation. It took a couple of days to get in to this place, but that’s my fault as my schedule was all over the place and I couldn’t make an appointment — she was accommodating. When I finally got there, however, it wasn’t as pleasant as I thought it was going to be. I also wouldn’t suggest going here for anything other than a full set; my manicure polish started to chip and started to peel almost right after I left. It’s been two days since I got it and I’ve already removed the polish to paint my nails myself. The prices are average and it’s fairly clean.

This is NOT owned by the same owner. There is a new owner and the place is fantastic now. They do great manicure and pedicures. They have tons of shellac colours to choose from. The price is good. Kim and her staff are so kind and welcoming. I don’t go anywhere else now. I used to go «wherever» but now make it a point to book with Kim.
They are open on Saturday and Sunday, which is very convenient.

I second the advice of another reviewer — stay away from this place! Instead of relaxing pampering experience the owner subjects you to her badmouthing of other clients and 24 CTV news on TV discussing world disasters. Hearing her taking calls would make you cringe because she sounds like clients must be delighted that she even considers to book them… Both the owner/​receptionist and the technician who works for her are rude and unwelcoming while the technician is really rough and inconsiderate in addition to poorly trained (her mani-​pedi are of really low quality). Eglinton West has many salons to choose, so keep looking…
