My grandmother usually goes to this nail salon once every few months and gets her nails done by the lovely Cathy. Cathy does an amazing job and is very kind, so if you ever do happen to be at this salon make sure you request her. There was never a time where she had a bad incident until last night. She wanted a manicure, pedicure, waxing of the arms and her eyebrows done. $ 100 dollars later she came out with the worst mani/pedi that I have ever seen. She got a French manicure and none of her fingers matched, and when she was getting waxed the person helping her forgot to take off some of the wax and she ended up having her shirt stuck to her arm. I called today to speak to the owner, Susan, and after explaining my situation to her she said that she was with a client and hung up on me. Considering the fact that your name is written on the sign outside of a nail salon, I expect better customer service and not to be hung up on. I wouldn’t be surprised if her nail salon ended up shutting down. This experience was a real disappointment, extremely unprofessional, and there is a great lack of respect for paying customers and I do NOT recommend this salon to anyone for any service.

Although I had some good experience here and that was only because of a girl called Echo who did a fantastic job(the one time that I was lucky to get her), every other experience I’ve had there was not the best. The most recent being the worst. I work in retail and hence get odd days off and every minute of that day off is precious. Hence I called ahead to make an appointment since I had to go Downtown right after. I asked how long a basic pedi and Shellac mani would take, ‘will it be done within an hour or so?’, I asked. The lady on the phone said yes. I reach there and the girl(not Echo) gets started on my pedi and I remind her that she needs to get my shellac taken off before we start the mani(she forgot and we only got started towards the end of my pedi). In between the manager sent her away to done another customers eyebrows and she was gone for over 20 mins while I just waited. I reminded them that I had to leave soon and they moved me over to the mani table where I waited a little longer for the girl to show up. She finally comes back and I’m already running late, I mention this to her and then tell her to not paint my nails since I need to leave(she had put the base coat by then). She insists on putting the top coat too, I say never mind i don’t want it but she says«five more minutes» and does it anyway. I go to pay my bill and I notice that I’m being charged for a full shellac. I tell her it’s their fault that I never got the extra 20 mins and they shouldn’t be charging me for it since I said no. They say I got the shellac top/base coat so they have to charge me for it. I’m still clam and pay the bill. Before leaving I tell the manager that I wish he hadn’t overbooked the girl so she would have finished my nails on time, he says sorry but this other older woman who works there starts getting hyper and saying«these things take time». So I said that’s why I made an appointment and was told it wouldn’t take over an hour(even though she said yes I always prepare for an extra half hour delay) but I ended up being there for over 2hours! The older woman scoffs at me and says«we never said that, it takes over two hours for shellac!». She was extremely rude and one of the other customers(her regular I think) laughed at me saying the same. She then went on accusing me like I was lying and things got really awkward for me. I left the place but really think they could have handled it better. I was willing to accept that there might have been a miscommunication but she preferred to make me(her customer!) sound like a liar instead, I felt so horrible and upset after that episode that I haven’t been back since. Treating your customers like shit and joining in with other customers to make fun of them is extremely rude and bad business ethics. If you can’t handle a small miscommunication issue without being rude then I will just take my business elsewhere. PS: I now go to Daisy Nail Spa and it’s much better.

The people here are extremely kind and squeezed me in for a last-minute appointment when I idiotically forgot to book one and had to leave shortly after. They’ll save the tools they used on your nails in a little box with your name on it for several months so that you don’t have to worry about other people’s germs, which is really nice. They shaped my nails precisely to my liking, which is difficult to do. Also, their«specials» are often reeeeally good deals. All in all, one of my favourite nail places, particularly since it’s so close to my house!

I just got my nails done and I am very satisfied with my experience. The stuff is really nice and the atmosphere was very relax. Soft music was playing and I love the massage chairs. Echo was the lady who did my manicure/pedicure. She did an amazing job! My feet feels like baby skin and the laque was nice and clean. She also gave me the best foot and hand-massage. I got a shellac for my nails, and I like the result. The best is that they will keep the nail file and buffer they used on me in a box with your name on it. So, they will keep using your own. Thats a thumbs up! The price is decent decent. I paid $ 60 for my service. Without shellac it would only cost $ 35 for mani/pedi. I will definately go back!

This place was really welcoming. I just walked in, was sat down immediately and had gel nails and tips completed with amazing accuracy and care. I even helped my friend move and not one nail broke or chipped. Very friendly, and way cheaper, friendlier and better quality than essential nails at bayview village.
