Subway has done just about all it can to keep getting blood out of a turnip, but don’t doubt these skills just yet. The brilliant move was to categorize sandwiches as «premium» or other such nonsense to get more money for essentially the same processed meat. This probably helps with the bottom line. Next we will see more«premium» sides, such as lettuce that is actually green. We may also have to pay 2 $ more for«extra meat», which will be the same amount as now. This location is nice because there are almost no fast food places close by for those on foot. Beyond that, when I asked for bell peppers, I got hot peppers. The lettuce was practically white, and the dining room was a mess. I appreciate being able to eat lunch for under 10 $. The service here is average. I appreciate that this is a tough business, and they are looking for every way to scrimp and save. However, this place can seem a bit ridiculous with the scrimping.

Subway are pretty stingee on the meat and cheese. The only thing they are generous with is the lettuce so your sub ends up tasting only of lettuce and bread. I just go here because Subway is a healthy alternative to all the fastfood burger joints and they’re convenient with multiple chains all over the city(it’s literally a 2 minute walk from my apartment). The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly, so this Subway is indeed A-OK.
