update: They got shutdown now and took our shoes with them. I’m out 100 bucks and still don’t have the shoes which I gave them for exchanging. We saw a note outside the closed shop when we went to collect them for the 4th time. PLEASEAVOIDATALLCOST. You’ll be ripped off for sure. I would give 0 star if I could. I had to face the exact as Adam. My wife bought winter shoes from them in 90 $ after 20% Black Friday day discount. Just after wearing them for 2 times in snow, they started wearing and tearing from al places. It looks like they get cheap Chinese products and sell them at high prices. We’ve gone to them 4 times at the shop asking for replacement/return but nothing happened. First of all they don’t do returns. Then the sales girls always say that the manger is not there and he will decide everything. Whenever she call him in front of us, he never picks up. According to them the manger hasn’t come since last one month. The girls said that they’ll give a call whenever he comes to the store and kept the shoes with her. We didn’t receive any calls for 3 weeks. Then when we called them, she said that he hasn’t turned up! We called so many times and now they’ve stopped picking the calls. So they have the shoes and the money since more than 1 and half month and there are no good signs. I tried contacting them through there support page online but no avail. I can see similar kind of experience of some other person in reviews. So basically even after paying ~100 $, my wife couldn’t use those shoes till now, when almost January is over! PLEASEDON’T BUYFROMTHEMIFYOURMONEYISHARDEARNED. I would say not even if they give it for free. The worst customer experience of my life, literally!

Disregard that last fake review obviously written by the owner or someone who works there. I have never dealt with such terrible service in my entire life. After spending $ 100 on a pair of boots around Christmas and having them completely and utterly fall apart in a matter of a few weeks, I went back to the store to ask for a refund. The same boots were now on for half off. I was told that they could only do exchanges. I did not want an exchange seeing as the boots were obviously bogus. The girls working there said they’d take the boots and hold on to them until the owner got back to me. So I left my boots there. I called the store several times, I called the owner, I called customer service, I called the manager, I called everyone and haven’t once received a call back. It has been well over a month and not one person has returned my call. So I’ve been walking around in the snow for a month in my running shoes while the store simply ignores me. That is the kind of quality and service you get at Stepps. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

Overpriced, overpriced and overpriced. Charging $ 99.00 for a pair of Chinese Laundry sandals that can be purchased in the US for $ 49.00

Stepps is my go-to shoe store here in Toronto. No matter whether I’m looking for a sexy new pair of boots, or a comfortable pair of flats, I head to Stepps. With constant promotions such as the one they have on now — buy one, get one free — it’s not uncommon to walk out of this store having bought 2 beautiful pairs of new boots for around $ 100. Score! They carry women and men’s shoes alike and although the store is tiny, they are staffed well enough so that you can always find someone to help you with sizing. They are about to undergo renovations and are having a special renovation sale in which ‘Everything Must Go.‘ If you’ve been putting off buying new shoes for spring, NOW is the time to get ‘em. They’re disappearing quickly, so be sure to get there sooner rather than later.
