Something’s Fishy

«Somethings Fishy» Fish and Chips no longer exists, it’s now Fresco’s Cuisine, Fish and Chips.
Seeing the $ 7.99 fish and chips posted on the sandwich board outside I decided to go in with my friend and we both ordered, what else, the fish and chips. The new guy running the place was friendly and the service was prompt.
Turns out the price on the sandwich board outside was wrong and the real price was 8.99 or $ 10.00 even. I mentioned it to the guy and he said someone else had told him that earlier and he had checked it out… nevertheless he went outside to check again and sure enough, one side of the board had the correct price, the other the incorrect lower price. He was very gracious about it and apologized… but we still payed the unexpected higher price.
The fish and chips themselves were pretty good, the fries were better than average, the fish lightly battered and crispy. There is a nice bench outside to sit on with great people watching.
The only complaints I really have is that for ten dollars you only get ONE piece medium sized fish and I personally dislike wrestling with those little plastic packets of ketchup and lastly, I was finished my small amount of tartar sauce halfway through my one piece of fish
This place would be great if it had bottled ketchup, two piece fish and chips to go along with a generous amount of tartar sauce.
