great local clothing store for men. i really like the shirt and tie selection. i’m not big on accessories, but they seem to have a large selection of that stuff too. the clothing can be a bit pricey, but appropriate for the quality. i like to wait for the days when they have big store-​wide sales. i also like to see the friendly store dog when it’s around.

This is a nice looking store. They have a great layout and I think the guy in there most of the time is the owner. He’s friendly and helpful. If you aren’t familiar with Simon Carter it’s a high end clothing store and there are stores in Toronto as well as London and New York (and maybe Paris?). The place isn’t inexpensive but I’ve picked up a few things there and the quality is high. I would recommend this store.

This store has been around for a number of years and it’s been one of my favourite places for accessories. It’s owned and run by a family from England and they even bring their dog in, Carter (of course), from time to time.
For those unfamiliar with the brand, SC specializes in the «Mad Men cocktail party look». Their cuts are for slim men and their colourful patterns tend to have a playful and cheeky vibe. The shirts can be a bit too loud for me, but perhaps others can pull off the look. Except for their shoes, their coats, suits and shirts are made by SC. A great place to shop for when you want to look good on a night out.
For me, it’s always been the accessories! I’ve received compliments when I’ve worn their watches, cuff links, tie clips and ties. Gentlemen, the ladies notice these things, so it’s definitely in your interest to pay attention to same. As an aside, their merch can be a bit pricey but if you sign up to their email list, you get alerted of their frequent sales.
