Second Cup

I’m a fan of this coffee shop. It’s usually fully stocked of yummy desserts and the coffee is always fresh.
They have lots of seating if u want to read or study. Ttc is right in front of the shop.
Friendly staff that always says hello and gives u a big smile.

Nice place, The barrista was very nice.
Even though it’s not in the best neighborhood, they keep the place looking good.

I’m in this place every morning, because I really enjoy the Italian Soda and the attendees…
But this morning, in my breakfast I just got a MOLDY TURKEY SANDWICH… making my breakfast the worst ever… so… thanks for your quality control, Second Cup…

All good. Service was good, as was my jasmine iced tea. Co worker’s coffee was hot, fresh, and apparently delicious. Fun people watching.

I came here in the summer with my fiancé and my cousin just to relax our feet after scoping out the city all day. When we came inside, we saw a special for iced vanilla lattes for only $ 0.99 so we decided to order 2 and also 1 raspberry tea chiller. We took a table outside in their outside seating area while waiting for our drinks. Our order took pretty much forever to get all 3 drinks. And so when we all finally had our drinks, there were a HUGE disappointment. The vanilla latte did not have a taste of vanilla in it and the coffee tasted as if it was burnt. My raspberry tea chiller was just okay, nothing really special about it. When I asked the barista for another order of a vanilla latte after I described to her the taste, she made me a 2^nd batch, much faster than the 1^st time. And again, it was a total disappointment. Even at $ 0.99 this drink was still not worth it. We trashed our drinks and walked over to the Starbucks that was across the street. Sure we had to pay a lot more, but at least the drinks tasted how it should be.
This is not the first time that Second Cup has disappointed me with their lack of flavor beverages… but I was just hoping that I’d be nice and give them another shot. Boy was I wrong.

To be honest, I prefer Second Cup over Starbucks most times, especially for late night, as they have more non-​coffee options.
An impromptu coffee date, we came here and got us some hot apple cider, soy milk vanilla bean hot chocolate (yum), strawberry smoothie and. (DD I forgot what you ordered!)
Small, but has 4 nice comfy armchairs at the back. My only complaint was the bright potlight above me that made it hard to see my company.
Open til 10pm almost everyday (I think they should extend this!)
