Roshad Optical

I have been going to Roshad Optical for over 10+ years and I have found the prices excellent but most of all Rhonda and Andrew provide amazing customer service. They are very knowledgable and just go out of their way to find great solutions. I highly recommend this store!

I have been a customer for about 2 years and have made multiple purchases from contacts, prescription eye glasses, and sunglasses and it has always been a treat.
Rhonda was very nice and went out of her way to make sure i was getting exactly what i wanted and needed, the prices were fantastic and i got a great deal!
I have also been waiting to be helped and was made to feel at home by Andrew making sure i was acknowledged and taken care in a timely manner.
Working in customer service i know how impatient and silly people can be at times, as is shown by a couple of the reviews here, but the reality is that this is a great place to get your glasses and contacts.
I’ll shop here for many years to come because of their broad selection of high quality glasses, and lenses and their superb customer service!

While I generally deal with the owner I know her staff to be warm, welcoming and well informed on the merchandise.
Rhonda the owner is amazing! She is not only fashion forward, in both optical and clothing style but is always happy to service her products. Rhonda goes the extra mile for her customers, I have experienced her calling literally all over the globe to track down a particular pair of Chanel Sunglasses. She was provided better customer service than Holts or the Chanel store.
Don’t let the aesthetic of the store scare you away from this neighbourhood gem. I have been buying my glasses and sunglasses here for years.
While I’ve never used a physical coupon there, I’ve never had to. They seem to always have amazing sales on. Not to mention she is great at helping with the insurance paperwork. As a frequent shopper on eBay, who is constantly looking out for the best deal around I’m confident in telling you that Roshad Optical is definitely that.
I cannot say enough good things about this place.

I went to Roshad Optical today for the first time, on the recommendation of a friend. I was completely blown away by how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were. Not only did I end up ordering a fantastic pair of glasses but they also gave me a discount. The only reason why they haven’t received 5 stars is because I haven’t received my new glasses yet. I’m sure the service on pick up will be equally fantastic. They have a variety of frames. Def something for everyone.

Roshad is great! I have been a customer for over eight years. I have been going through a bunch of challenging prescriptions over the past year and the customer support I have been given by the team at Roshad has been amazing.
They are professional, personable and have a great customer loyalty refferal service that is smart. Good selection on frames too.

The staff there are awesome… great staff! Anna Bella (I hope I spelled it correctly) and Andrew are fantastic… I feel like I’ve known them forever! I walked in and they immediately acknowledged my presence, beautiful. They know their stuff and I never felt any pressure to buy… ever, so relaxed.
I purchased a pair or eyeglass frames last year from the owner and she was fabulous, she knew exactly what frames and colour would best suit me, I get compliments all the time. Thank you!
I recently went in to change my exsisting sunglass frames to polorized frames and they gave me so many options, never got that elsewhere! Anna Bella and Andrew are fabulous. They’re so patient and accomodating that I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else from now on. It feels good to know that there are still retailers that actually care about their customers, very few now! Kudos to all of you for running a well oiled machine! Thank you!

My mother, sister and I have been going to Roshad Optical religiously for over 6 years. Choosing a frame is always a marathon because of the wonderful selection. Rhonda and her staff are always so patient and pleasant… and always ready and willing to give you a deal. I’d like to specifically shout out Andrew as he made my most recent glasses purchase wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone. The service at Roshad Optical is top-​notch. I have been searching for a pair of frames for over a year and the other places I have visited offered a mish-​mash of semi-​suitable frames with employees who didn’t necessarily know their merchandise.
Then I walked into Roshad. There was no pressure to buy, only encouragement to come back in to show what I decided on so that Roshad can consider ordering my chosen frames for future costumers. The staff even gave me a personal information session regarding what lenses would best suit my personal needs and helped me to determine the most economical option.
The staff were incredibly well-​informed, super warm and true professionals. The selection is quality and I am thrilled that I finally found my frames! They have defiantly found themselves a loyal customer…

I’m not sure about these other two reviewers. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences at Roshad. I have purchased four pairs of glasses there. I’m picky and serious about my glasses — I don’t wear contacts, so choosing the right pair is very important to me.
First of all, I love the selection. From the reserved to the funky! They really have something for everyone, and they have always been so helpful to me in finding the perfect pair.
Secondly, although they are helpful, they are NEVER pushy. I always tell the staff my budget and they never show me anything that will be more expensive. In fact, on more than one occasion I have benefitted from a deal or a sale.
Thirdly, they stand by their merchandise. I once brought my glasses back because of a chip, and they sent them back to be fixed without hesitation.
I have had nothing but positive experiences at Roshad Optical, and I would recommend popping in and chatting with the friendly staff if you are in the market for new glasses.

Alright selection but Terrible service: disorganized, don’t return calls, generally not a good experience. Will not return would advise others to go elsewhere.

The selection is decent but I didn’t find the service that great.
I had downloaded a coupon from the store’s own website and as soon as I mentioned it, the owner found a loop-​hole reason not to accept it. She did end up taking the tax off, which I appreciated it but overall it didn’t leave me with a great impression.
I think there are a lot of better optical stores in the downtown area.
