VIBE
This is one cool looking Roots store. You’ve got an escalator that brings you atop and large floor to ceiling windows on the second floor that overlook tony Yorkville.
I went here for an Ottawa Tourism party and it’s a great location to have a Canadiana themed fête. There’s a bar set up and comfy leather chairs strewn about. Bravo!
Merchandise is also nicely organized.
THE GOODS
I brought a toque for our Tweetgasm event. It kind of looks a bit awkward on me but my knit number is keeping me warm throughout our schizophrenia-​like winter.
Plus, they were having a fantastic sale on their winter hats. 50% off and an additional 20% off the sale price. So good.
I’ve been a fan of their leather goods for a while as well. Didn’t take a look this time but they have a good selection of medium-​sized real leather handbags.
I’m tempted to buy one of their comfy sweatpants.
Plus, they brought back Beaver Canoe. Beaver Canoe! Childhood memories.
